Amazing game. If you are here for military stuff I suggest finding a unit/faction to do this simply head on to r/findaunit or the #communities_arma channel in the discord. If you are here for random gamemodes like Altislife just open your ingame server browser and you will find many different servers.

This is best with friends.
Also a few friendly tips:
1. Be friendly - by being friendly you will be suprised by how many people you will meet and you will get to hear lots of interesting stories and have fun in general.
2. Be careful with cars for sure.(as of 1.11 they kind of work)
3. One of the major rules of dayz - never get attached to your loot, treat it like it doesn't matter if you lose it. 4. Dont drink from ponds. I decided to drink from a pond when i first launched the game didnt find tablets and i died. (as of 1.11 the best way to not get sick is with multivitamins)
5. Most importantly have fun.
