Short but sweet survival horror adventure that isn't particularly tough but is engrossing and filled with fun little surprises and quirky charm. Read the "Swift and Sudden End by B. Slain" book for a laugh :)

I remember when I played a early build of RABBIT & STEEL and being so genuinely impressed how the game was more or less already there and just needed content to flesh out. I've waited a handful of years for this and it isn't disappointing me at all, congrats to mino for another steelin' banger

super sick bite-sized game that works with a simple concept and nails it with style! even if the game looks too spooky for you i'd recommend giving it a shot, it's much more high on the thrills of the game and AI meta itself rather than any scares.

also multiplayer for this is gonna be sick, definitely looking forward to that

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a game with big heart and big ambition, and like past games, it isn't always gonna land all the time, but when it comes to the things I care most out of RGG games, which is the emotional character-driven drama and spectacle, this is easily the best they've nailed that since Judgment. Infinite Wealth feels like the real swansong for Kiryu that we never got, and they throw so many punches on both Kiryu's "Life Links" and "Memoirs of a Dragon" side quests, which include callbacks to all sorts of stuff across the whole series.

Oh and Ichiban is there too. He's nice! And his new friends are cool too. His place in the story doesn't hook me as much as Kiryu's, but he's such an infectiously good time to see on screen as always, and the way he treats others around him with all the sincerity he can muster leaves him as always, easy to love and hard to hate. I also think the narrative has a ton of holes and some scenes are given far more screen-time while other stuff that should had been shown in a cutscene simply just doesn't show up / get explained ever again. And leaving a note on this here - they did make enough changes for me to really click with the combat here in a way I didn't with Y7, where the turn-based combat felt like a neat but frustrating novelty. This time it feels like it's got actual legs, and the shift to RPGs is paying off in terms of how much more powerful exploration and side-content are to the core experience.

Like other mainline games in this series, they always cram a ton, but Infinite Wealth really shoots the stars and tends to hit more than it misses, although it definitely has quite a few misses (I'm mixed on the minigame line-up, the gearing system, and still a few odd wrinkles with the combat), but just take this review as a big glowing recommendation to try this one out, ESPECIALLY if you've played the past games!

You know this is gonna be one of the good ones when you see the arcade mode having full CGI endings for every character

I love Control, but I hadn't really gotten back to playing Alan Wake, and if I want to prepare for its sequel, diving back into that was gonna be the play.

But I'm now wondering if it really was the play, because while the narrative has interesting twists and the writing's fun, nearly everything else about this game was underwhelming at best and infuriatingly wasteful at worst. I would had liked this game more if it was 1/4th as long, to be honest. If Alan Wake 2 isn't the best dang video game on the planet, I will be very mad

to whoever designed this game, thank you for also agreeing with me that Lightning Returns: FFXIII is the best one

this is like watching a peanuts holiday special with that same coziness, sincerity, and heart, except this game's closest comparison to charlie brown shoots people to bits. it's kinda great!
