> Suddenly the ship is RIPPED and is going down and to the left FAST. Like REALLY FAST.
> Complete confusion and panic, we are repairing as fast as we can, I (The captain) confused to wth is going on here

> Suddenly, I think to use my sonar and see a large LARGE monster on the back of our sub
> Friend gets on gun "HOLY SH-". Fires a shot.
> It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Latcher.
> We are dragged to the deepest depths of the Abyss
> Me fighting each step of the way, refusing to give up.
> Genius idea. Drop depth charge (Sonar) go into stealth and slowly slowly get away from latcher
> Both me and my friend surprised it actually works
> Slowly quietly stealthily away.

> Find Volcano again, realize we can just go straight up towards the hammerheads and we are safe from the Latcher
> Full speed, power back on, depth charge dropped as a precaution, we fight the hammerheads, BANG another solid hit
> We suddenly fall much faster than we should

> We're pulled at rapid speed down past everything, our entire lower hull (Where he hit us) is gone. Our "mid bridge" is no longer a bridge and is now completely submerged in water
> Friend grabs his diving suit, attempting to repair so we can keep fighting on
> Me realizing this fight is far far over (We had reached 4000 and climbing depth and we were going to the pressure)
> Grabs Abyss Diving Suit. I understand what I must do to live.
> Grab a Scooter. Go up

> The Latcher comes back. I accept fate. Fly straight into death of it's mouth

Round 2

> We load up on as much Railgun Piercing ammo as we can possibly find
> Friend explains to me how each stage is "multi-leveled" and sometimes there are these weird "under stage" areas that things like these spawn
> It's called the Abyss.
> We go back in, prepared, and utterly annihilate the Latcher

10/10 Would face my deepest fears of open dark water again
