Great Games Keeps getting supported after all these years

Looks just as good and plays as it did 10 years ago, now in 4K 60FPS

While it is a very good looking game. the problem with Lichdom Battlemage is the Spell craft is overly complicated (while some might like that) it's not very casual frendliy. It's like any other crafting system in other games but on steriods you end up upgrading, mixing, crafting and combining bits and bobs to you can add to you spells which also be mixed and matched.

The big problem is the menus on equiping all is this is confusing as you click on something in a menu and have no Idea what you have just changed and how it will effect your proformance of your spells.

It reminds me abit of Amored Core from "FromSoftware" in a sence that actually combat is sort of striaght forward and simple but the ulimate challenge is puting together a capable build of whatever to get progress through the game.

Even when all the above previously mentioned problems are gone and stick smart inventory on. The game just ends up being so boring, just constanty spaming the fire spells, just to quickly elimate them, sometime I freeze them to add variaty. levels are long and linear and you never have any sense you are progressing through the game until you hit boss.

Near the end game or 2nd half, in the swamp like level, you feel like you are about to hit a end level boss or something whenever any you come across a quiet wide open area, instead more generic enemies spawn and just fight away again.

This Game has got huge promise. It has many problems i can forgive such as load times, somewhat mixed proformance on my gtx 980ti.

It is let down on some of the basics, such as the handling on the vehicles is very poor, and while the physics can be fun, it can be infuriating on the late career level as the difficulty spikes are quite high even on easy difficulty mode.

Also during said late game career the where game becomes annoying difficult especially when you are trying to get a high score to addvance the career mode, you will get wrecked also easier as the AI will often gang up on you dispite the game being a free for all leaving your score to go in to the red.

In the end first impressions are quite good, the music is great and has a beat to it, but as you slowing advance through the career mode all the little issues because the difficulty starts of quite low giving you time to have fun wacky physics, it slowly gets worse as the controls arn't up to tougher challeges the game throws at you.

The Best game in the series can even run on your mom's Laptop

Playing a Monster against the AI Hunters Is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard it barely worth having it as a mode, as it just shows flaws in the games balencing with the AI. Not to mention the dlc which i would have excepted if this was free to play. but it isn't.

Other than that it is a really good game. Don't play monster Solo.
