Crab Champions got me addicted to Roguelike games. I 100%'d that game, and now will be doing the same with Deadzone: Rogue.

I think I got the game In May 2025 and they have been making sure steady updates that improve the game greatly since then. Definitely worth getting now that 1.0 is out. I managed to put 30 hours in without all the content even.

I will also be buying the new DLC even though I don't care much for cosmetics. I think they deserve it. If I am ever unsure of what game to play, Deadzone has become the answer for me.

Sony has killed any momentum this game had. It has been delisted in over 100 countries, and some people are unable to play the game in those countries even after purchase.

Game play itself was pretty good, if not a bit repetitive and clunky at times. Cannot recommend purchasing this or any other games where Sony is the publisher for the foreseeable future.

In my opinion, this is the best of the Civs. Tons of replayability, although I'm not sure I've ever finished a game!

It pains me to say this, but I can no longer recommend this game.

After over 1,500 hours, I've finally reached my breaking point. I enjoy playing with one friend specifically, almost every day in the evening, and it's become very toxic as of late. The MMR system does not work well. Somehow, we are always placed with incredibly talented people, and sometimes go 10 games without a win. So incredibly frustrating when trying to relax after a long day of work.

Also, not that it affects me specifically, but I can't believe that they have implemented automated bans for chat. That's insane to me. Why is a lifetime ban an option? I've spent so much money on this game. Just ban someone from chat? Implement a chat filter? There are so many better options than that.

I hope maybe someday I will find this game enjoyable, but my life has been quite a bit less toxic personally after taking a long hiatus from Rocket League.
