Picked this up in Early Access because I liked Raft, and you can tell Voidtrain was inspired by it. Now that it’s 1.0, here’s my take:

It’s a solid game overall. Progression is slow but fits the style, and the atmosphere and narration really stand out — especially since your character doesn’t talk. The journal system works great for tracking progress and tutorials too.

The Rofleemo pets/workers are adorable and useful, though it’d be nice to get more of them earlier. You’d probably need better farming for that, but it’s not a big deal.

On the downside, the food and drink survival parts don’t add much, combat feels mostly optional even though the gun crafting is fun, and the story ends pretty suddenly. You can also beat the game without much research, which makes the tech tree feel kind of pointless.

Performance seemed to dip near the end for me, not sure if it’s optimization or something else.

Overall, if you liked Raft or similar base-building games, Voidtrain’s worth a try — and definitely a good pick-up on sale. Think of it as Raft’s little brother.

After Hundreds of Hours of playing Borderlands 2 and others. I heard a lot of negativity about this game. Now that I have played it, I would recommend any Borderlands player to play it. I wouldn't be my first choice game of the franchise but definitely my second. Its multiplayer system is better than all previous games so great for Co-op. Its single player is good too. The story starts kinda poorly but really makes up for it once you hit Lvl 10~. The side missions are funny so if you need extra Xp or Loot for your level its worth doing. The Dlc I have not played as of yet but if the content is similar and jokes are on par with what the base game provides it should be worth playing. For end game content I have not tried fully yet but by the looks of things it is what you would expect from a Borderlands game. Firm but Fair mobbing, Grinding bosses for loot, Higher increase in world drop legendarys so you nearly always get something from the Boss / badass enemy even if its not what you want, it could be useful. For characters, All seem fun to play but have some balancing problems which could be a problem for some players but it was like this in previous games but they do try to fix it over time. Mozes Mech is Great fun. Zanes Gadgets are cool and unique. Amara has lots of utility and Flaks pets have some good strength and good AI most of the time. BL1 - 5/10, BL2 - 9/10, BLTPS - 3, BL3 - 7/10 (for now)
