If you really care about this hyper specific genre of media I will say that this game is "Not on the Bounce" with the understanding that nothing further needs to be said.

Never the less, if you require a more nuanced breakdown...
Is this game fun when it works?
Yes
Does this game work well enough for that to matter?
No, not really.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this game in the state that it currently is. Every patch they've dropped has broken something or made something functionally worse ranging from the minor breaking of paid cosmetics (the orange targeting bits of SA-12 Servo Assisted Body Armor & SA-25 Steel Trooper Helmet both display flat orange instead of a screen) to introducing stack overflow crashes with new weapons that are functionally similar to old weapons but managing to break all of them (ARC-12 Blitzer, ARC-3 Arc Thrower, and A/ARC-3 Tesla Tower).

100 hours in every game is still exciting not because of the action and game play but because you spend each dive waiting for the bottom to drop out. Who will disconnect first? Will it be the host (kicking you back to ship)? Will it be a badly placed reinforcement that requires you to mercy kill the player who "drowned" in water but won't actually die? Will an enemy corpse come into contact with your foot instantly killing you or throwing you through the air to your death (I suspect coded like the Elden Ring dog glitch that caused damage on every frame)? Will the Pelican dropship at the end of the mission get stuck half-way into the ground stopping you from extracting and keeping your upgrade materials?

This is a "hypothetically" fun game and nothing more.
Save your money and go buy a farm simulator.

Update: The Arc bug is fixed, they say that the drowning issue is fixed and so has the corpse damage (have yet to confirm). Game still crashes/disconnects constantly though and that still gets worse with every patch!""

Update 2: Sony messed up big time and I recommend getting a refund if you can.

Update 3: Alright, I expect Sony to try this again in like a year but at least the Devs are listening for now.

While Dawn of War 3 has a "dedicated" developer base, it didn't hit the targets the fans were expecting at launch, and it hasn't performed the way the fans had hoped since. It's been tough for us as fans who want to play great games from developers, and for us as people who care a lot about what we play.

When a game underperforms, plans need to change. With Dawn of War 3, the fans simply don't have the game they needed to produce actual enjoyment. We're working in close partnership with User Reviews and Steam Refunds to determine the best course of action, while shifting focus to other games within our libraries.
