Being a long time fan of the Souls series (starting with Demon Souls), I have to say, I was a little bit dissapointed with the newest title in the series. Don't get me wrong, it is a fantastic game, and I will continue to play it more, experimenting with different builds, but it left me wanting more. I don't know if it's just my improvement as a souls player or what, but I felt as though the game was too easy. Not only this, but up until the release of Ashes of Ariandel, the PvP was just awful, especially early game. PvP was one of my favorite things to do in the previous games, focusing on one on one duals. Every invasion felt way too one sided. You would almost always be fighting multiple people, with half of the estus that you would normally have. Not to sound like a ♥♥♥♥♥ or anything, but it was unfair, even driving me away from online for a while. It is still a fantastic game, though it had a shaky start, that I would recommend to anyone seeking a challenge, or a seasoned souls player, looking to have a little fun.

So far, this is my favorite Mortal Kombat game, in terms of the actual combat. The story mode however, is lacking in my opinion. Growing up on the the Playstation 2, one of my favorite games was Mortal Kombat Deception. While I didn't enjoy the 3D fields that you would battle on, I absolutely LOVED the story mode. Travelling the 7 realms, for that time, was amazing. This is something that I would love to see in a future iteration of Mortal Kombat. While I understand that it is a way to introduce the new characters in a way that lets people grow to love or hate them, it just feels very boring and linear. Overall, the game is really good, and a fantastic buy if you have friends to play it with, otherwise, I would not buy it.

So far I'm not too deep into the game, but it's already amazing. It shares many of the same qualities of Dead Island that I loved so much, with a much more refined system for everything. Everything in the game that I have seen so far, is very well polished, and super fun. Overall, this is an amazing title, that I would recommend to anyone.

Early Access Review
Brawlhalla is a fantastic game that can be at times very frustrating, but still fun all the same. It is a great game to waste a bunch of time on and is definitely worth checking out.

The AI is really bad and overall just a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Took 14 minutes for me to beat. The game is not scary at all as well as that, the menus look like a three year old drew them.

After almost 5 years, and a newly found appreciation for the game and community after picking it back up, I feel a need to re-review Warframe.

So straight off the bat, this game is amazing, and has a wonderful group of devs that are incredibly active, as far as keeping the game updated, and staying in touch with the community. The amount that this game has grown in 5 years is insane, and I'm excited to see where the game will continue to grow in the future.

To anyone looking to start playing Warframe, I highly recommend it. I will however, give a warning. Warframe is not like most games, in the sense that it lays out everything that you need at the beginning. The game will give you just the very basics, and let you out to explore the game and learn on your own. However, the majority of content in the game, is locked behind a sort of knowledge barrier, one that would be incredibly tedious to overcome on your own. The game doesn't explicitly tell you this, but you need to rely on other, more seasoned members of the community, if you want to get the full experience. The devs have mentioned this numerous times during streams and such, but for those that don't keep up, that is the case. Once you understand this, the game becomes significantly more accessible and just more fun in general.

Warframe does have real money transactions, however, every non-cosmetic item in the game, is possible to acquire via farming and such. On top of that, you can trade farmed items for the premium currency to other players, completely negating a need to spend money on the game. The devs also do a wonderful job balancing everything out, so nothing feels unfair, or too easy, so long as you prepare for whatever you're doing. As far as just running the game, you don't need a crazy system to be able to run it. It has pretty low requirements, even for max settings, though still looks better than most AAA titles released this year, all while being a free game.

All in all, my only real complaints with the game, are minor time related things, such as the timers on crafting warframes, daily focus and standing caps, and the 24 hour waiting period between the completion of different mastery ranks. I look forward to the hundreds of hours (and dollars) that I will put into the game.

P.S. Lemme get primed vigor sooner. 200 days is too long :(
