I'm a firm believer that the pinnacle of artistry is to anthromorphisize and feminize any and every possible ideal: physical, metaphysical or conceptual. The human drive to make anything appealing trough channeling primal breeding insticts is a beautiful thing, and should be followed by any and every developer out there, making the world a much happier place.

Ever since my early years of delving into my own psyche I've sought out many ways to make many of my fantasies a reality or even so, just a mere experience.
I simply adore the atmosphere of the Souls games, the music, art, enemy designs and locations, it's all very comfortable to be in.
However, I wholeheartedly like this game because it allowed me to play as a barefoot nun.

Damn, Vergil sux in this.

A story about manipulation.

RUINER provides intense action all the way from start to finish, throwing in new challenges and mechanics as you progress trough both the levels and your skill tree.

The weapons provide a playground feel as you play and experiment around with them, each one having such an unique feel from eachother, making you feel all tingly in your tummy when you blast trough the meat shields.

The melee aspect is so satisfactory, in fact, the impact feels great to be delivered, either be you spinning around with a sledgehammer or slicing trough with sharp toys, and the execution mechanic delivers that extra OOMPH to the brutality you'll learn to enjoy delivering left and right.

The story blends well with the ambience presented, making you feel sympathetic for a few characters and so very apathetic for all the rest, that delivering a much deserved smacking to the cast of antagonists feels so very sweet.

The music is easily one of my favourite aspects of RUINER, the powerful beats of Zamilska from the eerie atmosphere Sidewalks and Skeletons delivers, along with the comfort you feel when Island Door plays whenever you come back to town, making sure to deliver a memorable experience that stays in the back of your mind and tickle your hypothalamus from time to time.

RUINER ruined whatever bad expectations I had of it being mediocre, I loved it.
