Idk what to say. This is the first light roll build I've made, and the only benefit I've seen was easier escape from rushdown builds. Sometimes people would catch me in close range with the tiniest toothpick, and it locks me into a combo, because I don't have the poise to escape even that. I usually go for 51 poise, and while that is by no means a large number, it at least allows me some freedom. I was unable to reach even that with the look I was going for, so I gave it the only advantage it can have. I had a version of this build earlier with the midroll, but it was almost as difficult staying at the golden rank then as it is now. If anything, having magic this time around is what's making my life easier. Magic gives me actual options, while light roll... well, rot-greased patas are less of a threat now.

it is almost double the roll distance, but you are not considering the infinite amount of i-frames it gives,, if our latency isnt super low, it will litterally make you untouchable, unless you willingly walk into my attack, do you think that elden registers the attacks/hitbox the same way as old dark souls games? For example in this game unless you have a godly connection no one can backstab you, even they're literally still for more than a second. That's how broken it is, and to think that you are sure that Rakshasa GK is stronger than lightload, oh man you need to study more.

You had the most overpowered AoW at hand, the Weedcutter, and you needed something else for more hyperarmour? That's a funny joke, mate.
Light roll gives you 10, maybe 20 percent more roll distance. That's literally all it does. If that is enough to collapse your whole battle plan, I have some bad news for you. In ds2, depending on your equip load, you could almost double your roll distance, and it was on a spectrum, not requiring you to meet any breakpoints, and nobody complained about it, yet in ER, the 10% extra distance is suddenly such a big deal that it is somehow worse than the cringiest meta setups available.

There's no range advantage when fighting a lightroll build, you can roll the entire arena in a couple roll, while being faster than a mid roll running, you won because lightroll is broke, not because I styled (which I didnt, i just needed the hyperarmor from SoN to tank through your R2)
