CSS is a classic game and there really isn't anything else like it

Would absolutely recommend for anyone interested in CS's history

The game itself is fine but be warned that it isn't perfect. It's fun and an enjoyable experience but know that the game is still not necessarily finished or even really functionally amazing. It keeps you coming back but you still sort of feel like there's more to come (which there is). I would recommend getting this game but don't be too shocked if it's hard to start playing.

Even after over 16 years of being released, it's still the best CS experience you can get.

You get to fight off an alien race invading earth as the president of the USA using a big ass cannon for their spaceship. Then, you get teleported to a cyber space of a 80s sitcom that includes a scene where you eat waffles. You are then pulled out and put into a simulation of Steelport where you proceed to shoot things and hit people with a gigantic dildo.

Truly the best game of all time.

Just imagine CS:GO with better graphics, no HUD or minimap, no hit detectors or deathcams, and no flashy skins during the heat of battle. Seriously, just imagine a hardcore version of CS.

I'd say that this game is fun since I have 1k hours on it. Gameplay is fun and requires true skill and effort to win in. However, a huge caveat emptor to consider: Matchmaking at the moment is a mess. Smurfs and hackers are almost guaranteed to be in 1 out of 2 games and destroy the fun of the game. Trolls can also be annoying and ruin it for you. Hackers are extremely prevalent in higher ranks and smurfs are everywhere in lower ranks. Also, be preapred to be VERY frustrated at ranks and ranking up. You could win 6 games in a row and not rank up but lose 1 right after and derank. If you want a really good competitive experience, try ESEA and Faceit. They have 128 tick servers, a better anti-cheat, and... AN ABILITY TO CHOOSE A SERVER(So no more "cyka bylat"). However, esea and faceit are paid so it's go pay or deal with MM. Lastly, the market in this game is HUGE but don't open cases. You will NOT make a profit easily and it all comes down to luck. Still, the game itself is fun and extremely addicting. Just keep all of those in mind before buying the game.

This game is truly amazing. The graphics still hold up very well even today and are amazing to look at. The gameplay is endless amounts of fun and balance. The sound and feeling of being in the battlefield are truly amazing and can only be experienced by playing it. The Vietnam DLC pack is the true standard of what DLC should be. It adds so much and is so much fun to play. Everything about this game is amazing and honestly, I'm sad that I don't play more than I should but it's truly amazing. If you want the best Battlefield experience(that you can still play and actually have multiplayer/people playing it), then get this game. I can't adore it enough and I hope that you feel like what I feel about it too.
