Edit post first DLC: The more I play this game the more I realize that this game will never be well optimized, I feel like the devs somewhere mid development ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up massively in the optimization department and decided to just take the L and put the band-aide that is up-scaling.
Which makes me sad cause I like the game but ♥♥♥♥ me, even with a mod that makes the game look like it was made for a PS2 and still run like ♥♥♥♥ with more performance problems then complaints in this review.

Is the game fun? Yes
Am I having fun? Yes
Is my fps ever hitting 60+? Not even on loading screens.

While I haven't gotten too far into the game to say much about it overall, I can't ignore the poor performance.
While my PC isn't good, it manages to pull consistent 30-60 FPS on most games released recently,
However Remnant 2 is not one of them.
Which in a way is weird to me, since for the most part, it's like the Remnant 1, feels like it, looks like it and plays like it, yet in set places fps will go as low as below 10 while the previous one had none of these performance problems.

Walking around is completely fine, decent 40 fps but the moment one of those portals get a hard one from you being near it, the fps will plummet until you put a restraining order on it and get away set distance.

Now while it might just be my PC growing ancient, I still think the performance shouldn't be this down bad.
