I made a joke-review in the past but I feel like I'm doing this game a disservice by not actually giving it a proper review. I'll still leave the joke at the end, I suppose. Here we go:

This game is an example of a small indie studio showing the rest of the industry how good games can still be.

The game puts you in a giant puzzle made out of many, many smaller riddles shaped as a close approximation of a solar system and gives you the keys to a ship to travel said solar system in a spaceship fueled solely by your curiosity (and a jet pack fueled by actual fuel).

There is no progression in this game other than gaining of new knowledge which gives you a better understanding of the rules of these worlds and how to solve their riddles. It's like getting a key item at the end of a maze, except there is no item but a few new neural connections in your brain which are just as good at getting you through your next challenge, and it works great.

The controls are not intuitive to most people at first but you get used to them very quickly (what do you know, flying a spaceship can be hard, who would have thought), the puzzles are all challenging without being unfair (ok, maybe some of them were a bit too hard for my liking but not enough to make me mad about them) and the game does a good job helping you manage the information you gather via your ship's log, which is a great boon in my opinion.

Other than that the art style is simplistic but effective, the soundtrack is top-notch and I can seriously not think of a single moment throughout my play through where I felt like I wanted to put down the controller and leave the game, all I felt was just "I have time for one more thing" and occasionally "oh c%@p it's 3 AM I should probably continue tomorrow". I guess many people feel very intimidated by how little the game holds your hands and tells you what to do, but that's what makes it so great in my mind - the game is about exploration and discovery more than anything else, how can you feel awe from a discovery if the game lead you all the way to it? Like I said, your curiosity is the only thing your ship flies on.

Overall it has to be one of the greatest games I ever had the pleasure of playing through, and I honestly wish more game developers will look at this masterpiece and learn from it.

TL;DR:
10/10, best 22 minutes of gaming I have ever experienced 95-ish times.
