Secret bio/FAQ for those that actually spend time checking out my profile:
My real name is Jason Boon, I'm from '02 (actually the same date as the European launch of the GCN).
I am currently single (last updated 02/11/21), trying to build a family of three one day before I'm 35.
While you won't notice anything, unless IRL, it might be a little fun fact to add that I do have Autism.
Best thing to compare what's going on in my case (since every person with the Autisms experience
things differently) is that I have almost no filter, I'm very direct, honest, etc. I'm currently in college to
become a programmer and to secure an decent income for my future family (so I can also work from
time to time at home). ~~My current job is being a cashier at a grocery store chain~~ nope. Yes, I worked through
the midst of the pandemic, and no I don't feel a hero. I simply did my job and I needed the money, plus I
was bored as Buckshot LeFonque of course. My hobbies are being involved with tech, photography,
cooking (and eating my results haha) and uh gaming.
Bet you guessed that one

I'M FINALLY BACK!
August 14th 2020 signs the day that I finally came back to Steam

To all my old Steam buds from back in the day and for new people I'll meet along the way, allow me to explain. Back in 2016 I had a potato for a laptop. I didn't have money for a great PC build or an good gaming laptop. I actually got it for free in some way, so I had nothing to complain.

So, one day I was busy making an English book report that took me almost 5 hours to make and I wanted to put it on my flash drive since I had to take it to school. Shockingly, the file was gone from my laptop and the USB drive! I immediately did something (at the age of 14 no less) I still regret to this day. I literally gave my laptop a toss to the ground, causing it to behave in a "zombie" kinda state. The heads of the hard drive didn't completely crash, but the damage was significant that it took an hour to boot into Windows, let alone make it usable.

So that's what happened. :vvvvvv_verdigris:

I'm happy to report now that I not only graduated from high school with pretty good grades actually, not only did I become wiser (by NEVER EVER ramming any kind of technology to the ground, but I'm currently off to college to get my programming degree and to fulfil my childhood dream! :gman:

This meant though that I needed a good - read: gaming - laptop for my work at school. I got one, one way or another... I'm still definitely poor, although a little bit less poor thanks to my changing income and a new job at an local grocery store (I worked as a paperboy before, beginning at age 13 until they went bankrupt last December). Well, I think my newly acquired gaming laptop is pretty good, you can check out it's specs right here [imgur.com].

Feel free to give me a message, especially if we haven't spoke in a while.

Unadulterated fun.

I stumbled upon this game while searching for something else. What urged me to buy it were the visuals. And I'm glad I did.

This game ultimately boils down to a bunch of events. You might call them micro-games, but they don't feel like that in my experience. They feel more like events happening very quickly, and I tend to think that micro-games are much more unrelated to each other (eg. the WarioWare series). I could be wrong, but alas. The main objective does have a striking resemblance to WarioWare, that being to get the highest score you possibly could with events eventually coming more rapidly after each other. One nice touch the developer gave is the 4 second brake you get around every 20 events that happened. While summing this up, it really made me wish there was some kind of online scoreboard added to the game. That would've been so engaging and I'd definitely say it could've boosted sales.

So, let's talk about the things (read: events) that are happening in the game. If you haven't seen the screenshots already, well... the name of the game is NSFWare for a reason. It's totally not safe for work. But totally safe for a good group of comrades! I can see this being played with the right group of friends, all huddling around the couch trying to get the high score and perhaps giving the wrong instructions to the new guy, haha. It is getting used to it though, since some instructions are very subtle, downright confusing or just non-existent. I do think that adds to the challenge of the game. I still don't master every event that's happening on-screen, despite having a respectable (I think??) personal high-score of 45 points. But that being said, it's solid fun after knowing it somewhat better.

Conclusion: this game deserves way more people at least trying it out (with friends). It's something unique, wild and fun to spend a few rounds to from time to time. This is the type of indie games I like, cheap and creative while being genuinely good fun. I think it's also a very cool game to give to a good friend on Steam, so future potential gift idea for ya right there. ;)
