Oh, the millenia-old debate, which has puzzled the minds of ancient philosophers and been the cause of countless wars and suffering throughout history- which has better combat- Mordhau or Chiv 2?
I, a mere filthy peasant, can not give you an answer, but I can tell you this - on an outdated rig such as mine, stable internet connection and a full 64-player server, Mordhau runs on Medium settings at 60 fps with frame drops to 20 during fights and 70-100 ping. Chivalry 2 on the other hand offers a far more stable experience at High settings with solid 60 fps and 40-50 ping, allowing me to actually play the game and get an equal chance against people with 2000 Euro PCs.

Early Access Review
There's currently 15 people in Europe playing Beyond the wire on a Saturday afternoon. I realize that the peak player time is in the evening but for comparison Battlefield 1 currently has 6300 players (that's just on Steam, there's probably as many on Origin), Verdun has 90, Tannenberg - 30. Still that's not the main reason I'm giving the game a negative review.
I fulfill the minimum requirements, but have so far had 2 crashes on start and 1 during loading times. 4 GB of VRAM is not enough for this game.

I've played Chivalry, Mount and Blade and War of the roses so I consider myself somewhat familiar with the genre despite not being exactly skilled.
This game is absolute ♥♥♥♥. It's made by inbreeds for inbreeds.
I play LoL and even the most toxic League lobbies can't compare with the average chat in Mordhau. It's the biggest cesspool of lowlife in the known universe. You either have to turn chat off or find a way to enjoy the game while being constantly bombarded with the thoughts of the dumbest people on the planet.
On top of the insane amounts of toxicity there's an issue with griefing too .In every match I've played, there's a group trolls. If you kill one of the enemy trolls, your team-trolls gang up on you and kill you. If you ignore the enemy trolls, they gang up on you and kill you. There's no winning, you just have to figure out what's their favorite spot and avoid it.
The best part is that the game is being killed by it's active player base not the lack of new players. R.I.P Mordhau- yet another failed attempt at a medieval PvP.

Developers and publishers should stop bloating games with unnecessary content just so that cringy "journalists" can post articles about the size and length of the game compared to GTA V or Skyrim.
Shadow of War is a 20-hour game in the skin of a 50-hour game. Fast travel points are far away from the target mission, you return multiple times to each of the 4 regions just so that more hours are put into the game and the unskippable orc speeches are fun at first but get really annoying when you have to listen to 3-4 in a row.
At least the end game grinding is now greatly reduced.
Other than that, I really enjoyed the combat and the sieges.
The story could pass as an acceptable "Hollywood" fan fiction. Just don't give it much thought.
