This might be one of the contenders for 2016's Indie Game of the Year. Truly an amazing, hard as balls game that goes alongside Nuclear Throne and Binding of Isaac in terms of unique gameplay, replayability, and a difficulty that takes a while to master.

Highly recommend getting it, even if it's not on sale.

Early Access Review
I bought this during the Humble Bundle End of Summer Sale, thinking that I could finally satisfy this bad Sandbox itch I've been trying to scratch ever since I burnt out on Minecraft.

Suffice to say, that search continues on.

Now everyone is aware that the game is still in Early Access, but I feel that EA Games should not have a free pass to being crap and this is, in one of those cases.

The game drops you in a random world generated, with nothing more than a Multitool and other things. It puts you through a very rudimentary Tutorial on how to build three different Workbenches in order to craft your starting gear(some of this gear is once you make it, it's permanently yours).

After the very brief tutorial, the game throws you out into the harsh enviroment of whatever world you're currently stuck in and not only lets go of your hand, but slaps it away as if you're supposed to strike it out on your own.

So you wander aimlessly around, harvesting stuff from trees and rocks and other various little things as you explore the world. Blueprints to other items can drop from Monsters that wander around aimlessly, but this is slightly rare for it to happen.

There's also Caves, or Dungeons, that let you raid either with a friend or by yourself if you ever fancy yourself giving it a shot but dont expect rousing boss battles.

You can also take a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ on the ground. I don't really understand why I need to take a ♥♥♥♥ on the ground, but I guess it's funny?

There's random NPCs that pop in and out of existence if you're ever in Solo Play that just wave their arms at you and go fade into the rock wall like David Copperfield.

So what EXACTLY am I supposed to do? Traipse around, collecting resources, beat the everliving ♥♥♥♥ out of Bugdogs for their sweet, succulent Hearts? The game is literally begging you to be EXPLORED and taken by the reins, but it feels so bland, and so boring, that there's nothing to do except Mine resources.

GRAV is a very sandboxy Action RPG Crafting game, but it's vastness and complete lack of anything WORTHWHILE to do could spell it's doom.

VERDICT: WAIT

Be a Space Ninja and planet hop a dystopian Solar System while grinding your face to the ground to climb the Mastery Ranks! Be warned as this is a game which IS BETTER WITH FRIENDS.

You're gonna have a bad time running Solo, so get with some friends and play this game.

If you dont have any friends that dont play it/dont want to play it, then you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Overall, I very much approve.

Someone took a fresh new concept, based on Voodoo Mythology, and added some well made mechanics to the game

- Plays like Binding of Isaac/BoI: Rebirth (Uses WASD to move and mouse pointer to shoot, can also use XB360 Controller for twin stick moving and shooting)
- Procedural Death Labyrinth (Randomnly generated Zones, Monsters)
- Gold carries over between games so you can upgrade Pins(basically small boosters), your character and unlocking certain stuff.
- Local Co-Op/Internet Co-Op!

And this was in a bundle! I highly recommend it getting it to support the devs!

A crimincally underappreciated 4X title that takes place in the Endless Series done by Amplitude Studios, this competes with Civilization V. The fantasy setting might put off some, but this is a prime example of how to a 4X Title. Not to mention, the first Add-On has dropped, adding an entirely new Minor Faction(chosen by the Community nonetheless!) which leaves more and more!

Strongly recommend picking up this game.

Also, Drakken are awesome.

This is a broken, buggy mess that has ultimately been ABANDONED by Lionhead. Don't get it during the sales, you'll have a hard time getting it to work in the first place.

Wait for the Anniversary Edition to come out here. ' -'

Alright.

I pretty much spent my time after work pretty much finishing this after putting it off for like months.

Got into it a lot because this was something I've been looking to play: An adventure game, similar to Metroid/Zelda, but that's like fun on combat. And it was what I wanted.

Now I when I say similar to Metroid/Zelda I mean this game has very STRONG influences of those games. Which, as you progress through the game, you find yourself equipped with more gear than you can shake a demon at and you start to get that little thought: "Hey! I saw that very same thing back when I started! Maybe I can go back there now!"

And it's basically that.

Not to mention, there's all these puzzles in each dungeon that involves using that Dungeon's main item and NOT TO MENTION using that very same weapon you got IN that dungeon to defeat the Miniboss/Boss. Also, very much LIKE Zelda, you get a nifty Lifestone each Boss you wipe off the husk of a planet.

So this game has very very STRONG Zelda influences.

And Metroid.

And...surprisingly Portal? (You'll see what I mean when you get there)

So this game of various influences actually manages it to make it work, which for me, seems hard to do.

SO!

Pros!

- Combat is Brutal (you'll be enjoying ripping apart Angels, Demons and other things easily.

- VERY VERY Strong Zelda Influences (If you're into those type of games)

- It's Fun. Honestly, this game was pretty much a total timewaster after work and I enjoyed it.

- I think Mark Hamill voiced this...not really sure, but you can tell he's using his Joker voice.

- Metroidvania influences as well, it's really quite satisfying to get into a place you couldnt before.

- Ending was good. Was totes excited.

CONS

- Drags on. War's a big bulky guy so he can't really...walk fast. He can trundle, though. Not to mention you get his Horse like halfway through the game and you can only use him in certain areas.

- Collectables out the Ass. If you're not looking for little Artifacts, you're looking for Lifestone Shards and Wrath Shards.

- Music is boring. Just a lot of drums and gregorian chanting.

- Combat relies a lot sometimes on reflexes and timing.

- Weapon EXP, as you level weapons up, it takes INCREASINGLY LONGER amounts.

So in total, I liked it!

I once spent an entire day playing this game and finished at about 3AM, wondering where my day went...
