A fantastic game! Extremely in depth and full of detail, you go across fun adventures dealing with all sorts of secrets and twists while dealing with the gaggle of horny teenagers called your companions. Also there's an adorable owlbear cub!

Elden Ring is the latest "Soulslike" game by Fromsoft. It's a real banger! Has fun open world mechanics and makes it fun to explore. It has challenging bosses and a lot of depth and a fun setting. The multiplayer could be more detailed but on the other hand I think it errs on the side that I'd prefer rather than the more realm of frustrating forced multiplayer that can easily spiral out of control with griefing etc. etc. So all in all a great game that I think is contender for game of the year!

A fun and fast-paced hybrid metroidvania roguelite! Being a blob possessing the corpse of some random headless ninja(s) you try to fight and explore your way to find out the mystery of everything and anything. Addictive gameplay where you have persistent gains between runs and slowly unlock better gear and permanent benefits for your character, including becoming better at exploring and dealing with the various scenarios that lie before you.

The graphical style is fun, and helps the game stay fast-paced without being too noisy or overdesigned.

A fun roguelite game that is all about discovery. Such as discovering how the combination of certain spells on a wand might be fun at first but is an act of hubris, punished once enemies become strong enough to not die in one hit and suddenly become a font of swirling firebally doom.

If you don't mind dying a lot to things you would not expect, but playing a game with a lot of depth and potential things you can experiment with, then this is the game for you!

A highly stylised and curious mystery that makes use of an interesting narrative style. Highly recommended if you're into peculiar narrative styles and methods, alongside its fun graphical methods!

An interesting rogue-like card game rpg hybrid that can really pique your interest!
If you enjoy deck building mechanics and trying to create combos as the game unfolds while fighting your way up a procedurally-generated tower where the art style is cool and inkeeping with the setting then you will probably like this!

Also has a great mod scene which can increase replayability by a substantial amount.

If you like having a space empire that is pretty sweet then this is the game for you. A good meeting point of paradox strategy and more conventional strategy games, I feel that Stellaris is good because it's generally more accessible while still having deeper mechanics - especially because the way the various expansions and such have gone so far, complexity is something that progresses as the game does!

Overall pretty dang cool, I recommend!

Nuclear Throne is a sizzling hot roguelikelike action game where you are fighting things in a weird post-apocalypse with increasingly exploding or weird guns (or sometimes not guns at all). The setting is seemingly very inspired by the likes of Gamma World and consequently the characters you can choose to play (along with their various abilities) tend to be quite odd. The starting two before you unlock anything for instance are a fish man and am ambulatory hunk of crystal.

Overall this is pretty fun and fast, it loads quickly and moves smoothly so dying is no big thing if you want to get back into the action. Furthermore they now have Daily Challenges and Weekly Challenges, keeping things fresh and interesting as you compete for places on the boards, the Daily Challenges tend towards "one chance at a specific instance, using whatever character you choose (that you've unlocked))" however the Weekly Challenge is a fair bit more interesting and allows multiple attempts at a specific instance but in this case what you start as and what your circumstances are, are pre-selected for the challenge, making things interesting!

Overall I recommend if you like high octane mouse-and-keyboard shooty roguelike action.

Well you got some Dark Souls right and you're gonna be hitting things and taking hits and dying but it's okay. Because this is a sweet-ass game and y'all should all play it.
I'm serious.
Also now it's on summer sale it's cheaper than release so that's more of an excuse to go buy it.
Hooray.

I haven't even completed this yet and it is sweet as hell.
Like seriously it is awesome.
If you like metroidvanias and sweet aesthetics then this would be great for you.
If not well it is really cheap and on a flash sale right this moment so I guess there's your excuse.
I know this review will become obsolete soon but in the future presumably it'll be on sale again, and that time the people who are on the fence will finally know the truth of lucha libre.
