Good game but I got scared by the spooky ball and couldn't finish it

Fun Lego title, runs well and has local multiplayer, goes for £4.99 on sale.

Originally refunded the game but rebought after watching videos. It's slow for the first couple of hours, but does get better. It can be worth looking up an optimal start guide so you can get to the action and understand things better.

I am reviewing this for the sale badge. How is this on steam lol.

Good simple fun :)

+Easy to learn.
+Addictive.
+Lots of content, 90 levels built in.
+WORKSHOP SUPPORT!
+Easy to play for short bursts.

-Can get stuck on a level and there's nothing to do.
-Difficulty seems a bit random.

Fun little game to play, easy controls and will keep you entertained for a long time, watch some gameplay, it's as fun as it looks.

It's worth full price and sales are fairly infrequent.

+OUTSTANDING zombies mode.
+Zombies Chronicles! A load of remastered maps.
+With ZC and The Giant you have all 4 WAW maps in a more stable engine with a leveling system and more perks.
+Zombies leveling system, 10 prestiges and up to level 1000, a good grind without much locked behind levels.
+Local and online multiplayer.
+Good variety of EE focused and survival focused maps.


-"You have been disconnected from the Black Ops 3 servers" I get this error only while playing SOLO. I'm on a stable, wired connection, I've never been DC'd from MP or CO'OP.
-Gobblegums, basically P2W, you can open lootboxes for them and theres some, like Perkaholic, that just give you every perk on the map for free, and they're a one time use before you have to buy more, I don't mind the free one's but locking an advantage away behind a pay wall is scummy.
-Wonder Weapons aren't as useful as they introduced double pack-a-punch abilities, pay another 2500 and you basically have a PAP'ed weapon with the ability of a Wunderwaffe, Thunder Gun or more.



+Balanced, you can use basically any gun and have a chance.
+10 pretiges and level 1000, long grind for those who enjoy that.
+Good maps.
+Not too much advanced movement, slides wall runs and boost jumps but it all feels like it fits the game, and all works with the level design.

-LOOTBOXES, there are nearly as many (or more) weapons locked away behind lootboxes than there are in the standard game, and some are VERY strong, stronger than base guns. You can earn them by playing but it takes ages and if you wanna pay, it's a lot.
-Pretty dead, there's still 2x XP events (will probably stop soon due to BO4) but apart from that its TDM, Domination or FFA.



+This is awkward...


-Short.
-Nothing like older games.
-Doesn't follow on from BO2
-No meaningfulness like in older games, basically you're playing a Michael Bay Movie
-No character development.

Zombies (with DLC) and Multiplayer are AWESOME. If you will get ZC and have friends to play with then 100% get it. For multiplayer, eh there's better options but if you like BO2 or newer COD's, you'll like it. For campaign, just avoid it.

Zombies 9/10 (Ignoring DC issues)

-Not much replayability unless you want to play for a few minutes while waiting for something.

Well worth the price you pay but don't expect it to be a really deep game you'll play for hours, main campaign sort of bit can be finished in under an hour, where this game excels is when you're waiting for another game to load and you can quickly play this in the loading screen. Really funny dialogue options and awesome art style, plus it's super cheap (I bought it with some money I had from selling trading cards)!

Frustrating.
Unintuative controls, the buttons don't do what you think they would, any basic game shouldn't require you to have to think about the inputs, especially timing based games like this, thie whole fast paced nature is ruined when you have to make an effort to think about what inputs your're performing.

The differences between tricks are tiny, I push my thumbstick right I do a kickflip, I push it 5 degrees lower than left? Some random 540 flip trick that I can't land and causes me to bail. Not to mention that this trick is said to be a right input + RB.

Looks good, executed poorly.
