Russians made me do it

They removed the gun shop and other not funny/funny intro moments.
This game is a joke.
the dash to to the police station makes me think it will be a short and stripped of amusement game, what a let down

OK so there was a gun shop moment, however it pales in comparison to the original.

Dark corridors and jump scares. If you're looking for a genuinely scary game then this isnt it. Got it cheap on sale so it's worth a play through but not even remotely as scary as others may lead you to belive, unles you're an absolute dandy.

More bugs than a roach infested hotel.
Game breaking mechanics.
Dodgy graphics.
Tedious as F*ck.
Getting trapped behind leaves.
Fast travel will decied not to work for no apprent reason.

Interesting story line (only because it's based on actual history which IS interesting )
I just want to finish it and get it out of my life forever.
The most frustrating game I've ever played.
WORST ENDING I HAVE EVER ENCOUTED IN A GAME.

If you are interested in this game then save your self the money and read a book based on the events instead.

It is a waiting sim.
Not scary at all, basic in it's premise, done to death, slow and clunky, low res violence.

Virtually pointless. Had more fun watching white paint dry.

If you want to know what depreshion feels like then play this game.

I'm not sure how the people who made it can sleep at night, I would rather go to war then play this game ever again.

Serioursly tho, everyone involved with this game should be ashamed of themself

The voice acting is really bad and clunky, imagine a game where the voice comes from Siri and Alexa.

The text at times turns from english in to another language, I think it may be russian but I'm not too sure, I tried to screen capture it but couldnt.

The story is fairly reasonable, but its nothing mind blowing or particularly orginal and the Twist is really not that ground breaking. Also, due to the mentioned voice acting its hard to feel any sympathy towards the chracters or story.


some of the items you need to interact with are barely visable and the puzzels are either painfully easy or just make no logical sense.

The animation is quite good and visually it can be nice to look at, although the comic book slides get old pretty fast and you can't speed them up you can only skip them entirely.


I got the game pretty dam cheap so I'm not diaspointed in buying it and if you want to try it for less than a £ then its worth trying it as the above may not bother you. I wouldnt recomend buying it at full price...

It took me a while to actually play this game but once I started I powered through it as the story and gameplay kept hooking me! The puzzels are a bit simple which isnt too bad but it would benefit from slightly harder puzzels for sure. The story works really well and comes together perfectly at the end, you almost feel sympathetic towards Joe.

Neat graphics, voice acting, no bugs and a decent length!



Highly recomended especially as its quite cheap!

Perfect addition to the series, looks fantastic, great humour, challenging ( but not overly so ) puzzels and some friendly familler faces.

I had really high hopes for this game and it started off really great, but...

as I have played the BG series and other games of the ilk and massively enjoyed them for their rich charcters and story I had expected that PE would not dissapoint.

starting the game everything seemd great and that I was in for a good story but not soon after I realised that I either stopped following the story or that it was really thin, or may I just zoned out?

It seemed I could kill swaths of innocent people only to have my rating of how much I was liked go down, there were no guards that would track me down or seemingly no one that would confront me.

the people on my team were cooky but mostly in an annoying way and the only one I enjoyed was Aloth, so when missions came up for my chracters they just felt like dull grinds that nothing new was learned from.

Some of the spell animation is cool, but the combat in general wasnt quite there.

as you can see I played for a fair while and it did feel that around every corner something fun would happen or the story might actualy captivate me, but it never happened.

some fun times were had, but not enough for a positive review and not enough to bother with the DLC

I'm just glad I got it on sale.
