THE FOLLOWING IS MY OPINION, IF YOU DISAGREE WITH MY OPINION THEN GOOD FOR YOU FOR THINKING FOR YOURSELF. I RESPECT YOU HAVING AN OPINION BUT DO NOT ATTACK ME OVER MY OWN OPINION OR YOU WILL LOSE MY RESPECT OF YOUR OPINION THUS MAKING IT INVALID TO ME!

This game is, to put a long story short... An insult to the franchise. Battlefield has always been a game series with a very engaging story with fun mechanics and semi realistic combat. The multiplayer of the games has always been side mode secondary to story mode that you played after completing the story mode, this game has no story mode at all and throws all of its chips on the multiplayer side which is buggy at the best of times, a laggy unplayable mess at the worst of times and lacks the overall appeal of the earlier entries by being a purely multiplayer game. Look at the past, TitanFall (first game), CoD Black Ops 4, It Takes Two, A Way Out, these are games that are purely multiplayer and are hard to enjoy for one reason or another. Black Ops 4 used to be just an expensive battle royale in a market FLOODED with free battle royale games, Titanfall 1 was a massive flop while Titanfall 2 was a lot better, It Takes Two and A Way Out are multiplayer exclusive games that are story driven and demand you to have two players to play which limits your ability to sit down and enjoy the game. Now I do not feel that all of the games I mentioned are outright bad games, but considering the reviews of this particular game on launch, the outright FLOOD of videos pointing out bugs and glitches with the gameplay as well as shoddy server reliability and connectivity, the fact that this game has no story and demands a computer of a high level strength to play properly with all the previously mentioned facts stated already make me hate this game with a burning passion. If you made it to the end please put the word Fluffy in your comment to make it a valid reply showing that you actually read through what I have to say.

PROS
Great story
Immersive characters
Fun Gameplay
Nice squad mechanics
Still nice animations

CONS
Not canon anymore
Older game with clunky default controls (easily changeable and fixed)
Older graphics
Not fantastic resolution scaling

The games story is worth playing it through at least once. $10 at the time of this review is more than justifiable in my opinion for such a good story. I just hope the remaster comes to PC sometime soon.

Just not fond of the game personally, I do not feel Nexon has any business touching Valves IPs.

Blank Review. Love the game but has to be heavily modded sorta, the mods are how the game is actually still alive so not a huge issue, just wish I had more people to play with honestly. (not allowing comments but if you add me and say Stonehearth I would know what you added me for)

first off ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game has a lot of twists in it and as a warning it does require you to edit game files to finish by intentional design (just follow what is said on screen and do what feels right and for best effect get attached to 1 of the girls first that you can choose from) other than that enjoy the ride because holy crap is it intense! (also no these were not spoilers i didnt say how the game ends only how to get to the final ending)

It's interesting honestly. The gameplay is solid, the mechanics are there albeit unpolished still and the challenges are straightforward. These are the good points. The less than good points in my mind are related to balance and lack of gameplay as well as a fatal error crash I got. The not so good parts are the lack of polish, a need for some more optimization and stability (not really a whole lot but the FPS was all over the place for me on lowest settings and exact same on high settings) and the zombie speed needs to be toned down a bit. The zombies can easily outrun you and detect you from a pretty far distance even when you don't even move at all. The zombies running faster than you coupled with their ease at detecting you makes it more difficult in an unfun way because the zombies can very easily gang up on you and pin you before you have a chance to even react. The gun seems to be hit or miss on detection more so just you existing seems to be enough most of the time at least until the end when the remaining zombies are marked. The models however do look good both zombie and player models are good quality but I would say polish and optimization would go a long ways for this game. An actual story WOULD be nice but seeing as this is still an in development game I do not expect that to be very high on the list right now. For a singleplayer game a good story can make or break a game and a lack of a story can outright kill a singleplayer game entirely, this game feels like it wants to be Days Gone mixed with Call of Duty (yes I know CoD Zombies is a thing but this didnt feel like that) right now and I do not think that is the intention of the developer. I still do say this game is worth giving a try but I would advise against the middle map for a first playthrough the other 2 seem to be a bit better with less clutter and more sight lines while the middle map is just "Will this step call everybody and I die or will I live another second?" but that comes down to the lack of polish on the mechanics so for now stick to maps with more room to let you line up shots like the first map. The third map I did not get a chance to play due to giving up due to a "Fatal Error" trying to get back to the main menu. That may need to be looked into but I do not hold it against the developer as these things happen especially in early access titles and even more so in early access free titles.

The game is still fun, and yes I am waiting on Ark 2 to come out at the time of posting this. With mods this game is insanely fun and a tip for anybody that only wants to play a specific DLC and has limited space just only install that DLC. Like I am playing on the Genesis map because I enjoy it but didn't have 400gb for every DLC to be installed. The Genesis DLC has all the assets and everything and has no dependencies nor does any of the proper official DLCs. So if you only want to play with 1 DLC then only install that DLC to save space.

I love the game, played the first game as well but have one and only one huge grievance with this sequel. The one thing I see wrong with it is that it is plagued with connectivity issues which prevent long uninterrupted multiplayer sessions. I firmly believe this is due to its reliance on the Microsoft network trying to run on PC where it is not well optimized unlike on XBox. That aside if you want to play this for the sake of singleplayer only then this game is a great sequel with as far as I have seen, very few issues. But there is a horde defense mode that ties into the main game which is intended to be played with other people. While you CAN play this mode solo it is rather intense to try and solo.
So a final breakdown.
Multiplayer/coop = Unstable and nearly unplayable/enjoyable
Singleplayer = Stable and great experience with some multiplayer intended content tied in

I do love this but the few issues I found are a somewhat severe annoyance for me. Still I refuse to stop enjoying the game and I do hope in the 3rd game they use Steam Peer-Peer instead of using Microsofts XBox networks on PC or at the very least allow us to choose which we use by putting an option in the online settings section.

Very fun, just wish it wasn't so hard to build a fleet. Also a warning, some fleets/armadas are toxic so don't be upset if 1 does not work out for you.
