This game has more potential than I ever will. It's not just a 'car go crunch, haha' simulator anymore, but oh man is there more that should come for Beam in the future. I personally hope they focuse more on the motorsports and car handling aspect, as I genuinenly see this being an incredible rally and road racing title if done right. It has all the bones, but some handling elements need to be improved, there needs to be dedicated game modes, and a stable officially supported multiplayer. That being said, the game is still very fun to just drive around in using whatever vehicle your heart desires. I absolutely recommend purchasing it even now.

You may think you will get bored of this game after the first 30 minutes of running around aimlessly. But as soon as the dopamine from finding your first gun, and/or gettin your first kill hits, you will realise why running around a massive, run down wasteland for hours looking for items you know you will lose is peak gaming. It's a perfect antidote for the constant chaos and stress that most multiplayer titles force upon you 24/7. Because in DayZ, you can be chilling like a villain for 2 hours, collecting things with no drama, but when something happens-you will fear for your life in a way that no other game can make you.

Highly recommend modding, I made 'The 8th Deadly Sin' using a Thompson with a 10-25x scope and an M203 grenade launcher. And it still felt more realistic than most shooters out there. The AI feels kinda jank sometimes, but if you love loadout customization screens and shooting people occasionally GB is definitely your cup o' tea
