What a silly little game, looking forward to future updates!

Now that I've completely 100%ed the game and its achievements and everything I think I can review it!
I love this game. 10/10! Get it right now! (Some kinda spoilerish stuff inbound) One of the only "problems" I can think of is how hard the game can be, especially compared to the first game. Where the first game a lot of the parts where you're being chased down were more like a thrilling Sonic Adventure 2 city escape sequence where a couple (I'm looking at you Hospital) from this became follow this exact pixel perfect path, spam flashlight since aiming it is its own little nightmare, and even then when you do the exact same thing sometimes it'll just not work anyways which kind of took away the initial scariness after the 20th time I died in my first run lol. There were a few times I would get glitched into a corner or between meshes which was pretty funny but not a big deal because it was never anywhere where I didn't mind replaying the part before. But yeah, nitpicks, still one of my new favorite games. I even made a Mono costume for Halloween this year! Buy it! it's on sale right now, buy it! Play it next October! Also have to mention how I love this type of horror that's disturbing and creepy but it's not scary because of how gross the gore is or jump scares it's just the weird bizarro nightmare world you're stuck in is very scary to a little guy like you and I love that! Also also music! 10/10 listened to the soundtrack at work during October, chef kiss! Doesn't seem like there'll be a 3rd but I hope there will be, or some sort of spiritual successor or even something totally different by them! Okay bye!

As an invested fan of the HL series I was really worried about a VR prequal but wow this stands right along the other games as another timeless game. It's an amazing hybrid between the incredibly physics based (but story light) Boneworks or Blade and Sorcery and the storytelling and the optimized gameplay of the original games and games like Resident Evil and the Portal series.

In short, this game feels bad. To me! In long, maybe if you're someone who is really good at both black ops games this will be amazing, but something about the guns and the animations and the sounds, it's just not satisfying. And the constant shoving of what they might think is quirky humor down your throat does not help. I figured it out though, after they spent a ton of money and time trying to make Advanced Warfare amazing, they realized it had the same outcome so they were like screw it! Just wrap a turd in money and polish it with alright graphics and Bam! Black Ops 3. I am now, because of this game, a heavy supporter of the modern warfare and advanced warfare series. They Feel good! Even when I get like 2nd place in tdm in BO3 it doesn't Feel good. Dying feels way worse then killing can make up for. I played this all day 2 days straight when it was free and now I feel qualified to say, if I bought this game I would have been really mad and disapointed. And I bought Advanced Warfare a few months ago, which is a little dead, and I still am glad I bought it! Multiplayer is still going! Come on over there! Have a feel good time!

Any true gamer has to have played this game.
