I cannot express just how many hours I poured into this game on PS2, and to see it on Steam where I can play it on my big rig and play even more makes me nothing but happy. It's faithful to the original too! Seems a bit easier but it's very possible it's just cause I'm older and better at the game than I used to be.

(Now here's to hoping the other games can be brought out of exclusivity, aye?)

Lovely little game to play. Thanks, Thomas! The character portrayed may've been worried that this game wouldn't be enjoyable but rest assured, they weren't right cause I loved it.

It's been incredible seeing how this in-game world has expanded through multiple decades, and I'd absolutely say this is the funniest entry in the series, though it's definitely close! This gets my nomination for Steam GOTY even considering how new it is.

y'know i'll be honest here. not nearly as many oppressor kids as there used to be. now there's a bunch of wannabe-oppressed script kiddies. best o' luck to ye finding a public lobby that doesn't have at least one modder.

praise be for invite lobbies actually being viable nowadays. still a deeply flawed game but it's.. better than it was at least?

Don't get me wrong here, I love the game to bits and it's fun to play, but it's a damn shame that it's not available anymore. I honestly had to trade for a code and that's how I got it.

It's typical Poker with some lovable characters and dialogue you can laugh at. Best part, you can choose how much idle chit-chat they do. Oh and the TF2 items. Those are cool too.

tl:dr i got the game and you didn't lol

Thanks to a friend hosting Steam Remote Play sessions of this every so often and a different friend gifting it to me, I haven't needed to spend a single cent on this bug infested couchstain of a game. Oh, you wanna boot up the game? Choose a language. You're in the game now, pick your poison. Local mode or... online mode.

Local mode, you can just boot it up and play with people in the same room (or, thanks to Remote Play, play with people on your friends list.) Now you gotta choose the ONE rule, or just House Rules, that you're working with. Congrats! You have now made it to the game.

AI are easy to exploit, go figure. Game crashes or stops working for SOMEONE every 15 minutes at the most. But besides that, it's Good Time Monopoly, full of subtle middle fingers as the game's code unravels around you.

Same problems in Online Mode, except for, y'know... the 5 minute timer. Yuck.

Without Doom Multiplayer, (and thusforth Doom Fortress), there would have been no Quake mod. Without the Quake mod, there would have been no TF Classic. Without TF Classic, there would have been no TF2.

I am nothing but glad Valve made these games free to play for the time we have to wait for HL: Alyx's release.

Ever since I started playing the game on the website near it's launch, I've been looking forward to new things.

Back when I got this on Steam and then the Coven DLC, as well as the new switch to Unity, I've loved this game more and more. The playtime is a little more representative* of how much I've played this game.

Blank Media Games have really outdone themselves. Not only would I recommend this, I fully encourage people to buy the game and give it a try. Plus the learning curve isn't all that difficult to get over.
