I’m a big fan of the roguelike/roguelite genre—The Binding of Isaac is one of my all-time favorites. What I’ve been craving in similar games is the kind of deep synergy system that Isaac excels at. Magicraft comes close, adding its own twist with a dash of Noita-inspired mechanics. The bosses are interesting, though late-game ones can feel a bit spongey if you don’t have a strong build. The story, while humorous, is fairly minimal.

As for endgame builds, they can be pretty resource-heavy. I recommend turning on spell transparency if things start to lag—it's a helpful feature. After 45 hours, I’ve done almost everything there is to do, so it’s not quite as deep as The Binding of Isaac. Still, I’m left wanting more—more spells, more challenges, more levels—basically more of everything, and that’s usually a sign that a game has something special going for it.

As someone who enjoyed their time with the game at launch, 17 major free updates later. Unbelievable value for me. With that said that still doesn't mean this game is for everyone. It can be slow and grindy. The story is not what you would get in an RPG. The combat is what you would find in a typical shooter. But if you like chill games where you explore and build, this might be for you.

One of my favorite games of all time. The theme may not be for everyone. But if you can look pass them, the mechanics are great.

The only way I would recommend this game is if you watched the series and liked it but haven't seen it in a very long time. I think that is the only reason I am able to get through this game.

- The trash mobs are basically the same and bit annoying.
- It's open world but you only ever have 0-2 side quest at any given time. And they are not great.
- The RPG elements are basically collect as many orbs as you can going through the story. And when skills unlock through story progress by them.

A great game I put many hours in, with tons of replayability. If you like card/strategy games definitely worth the pickup.

A great game in which the story is intertwined with gameplay. Rarely do you see this. It is short (3.1 hrs on record) but worth the look.

Ejoyable to watch if you are a fan of e-sport, not necessarily just Dota 2. It was very well directed/produced.

On the negative, I think it was a tad long for the content. Only by a little, near the end I found myself checking my Twitter account. Also, don't think they needed to include the parts with Benedict and his girlfriend. He already had conflict between his family and school. It just made him look needy.

Just so you know where my opinion is comming from; I don't play Dota 2, but have watched the last two Internationals and watch few other Dota 2 compititions.

Love this game. If you like puzzles, Pick this up. It's a quick play, I finished under 6 hrs. But liked it so much I did it all in one sitting.
