Is this game good ?
Nnnnoooo..? ♥♥♥♥ no, it's horrible..
for all it's side content is concerned. It's combat is really hit or miss, the RPG elements are lacking and the romance is abysmal.

But the story? Fabien alone is one of the most charismatic sidekicks I have ever seen in a game. A genuine treat listening to all his dialogue and not once did I disagree with an assessment of his; all of him jabbering on to objects actually having to do with the object and not it literally speaking to him was actually a work of genius and he really made me love malkavians.

Genuinely; this isn't a great dive into the masquerade; it's downright terrible in it's progression and had they toned this down to not be the big bad BLOODLINES 2 maybe it would've served as a fun side game while we waited for a proper sequel to one of the most rich and diverse RPGs I've ever had the pleasure of playing 60 hours of and then never finishing because my lord that game is jampacked with so much STUFF I had to pry my way away from it.

My advice? play bloodlines 1 if you want something truly indictive of this world; patch it and play it. It's genuinely beautiful. But if you want something bite-sized and IGNORE ALL OF THE OPTIONAL SIDE-CONTENT???

Yeah, this is a good game. the main story is killer and it's ending is satisfying enough with twists that kept me playing long past the grind had let me down.

Now give me a damn good skilltree for Banu Haqim dear lord it's atrocious other than the slowing time ability.

Coming back to finally write a small review.
This shares a spot as my favorite game along with a hundred and sixty hour plus AAA RPG.
And Ive only spent fourteen hours on this game.

I cannot describe to you how bad I ugly cried at it's ending; it's such a perfect
story from start to finish. This game is worth so much more than it's priced at.

Those ghosts were very smoochable.

If I have to do one more mirror defense,
I'm going to blow my brains out in front of said mirror.

After putting in 42 Hours I can say,
game is good.

It isn't malware like some have claimed, and it isn't going to sell your data to the japanese government [ I hope ].
But it does have plenty of optimization issues and doesn't run all too well. Regardless, I've never played a game like this, and I love the gameplay loop and how destructable the environment is. It's genuinely good fun.

Now if only they'd add more maps >:I
