This game honestly feels like it was made by that kid in school who aims for a D.
It technically passes in a lot of area (except for the port) but it puts the bare minimum effort into every category it can. In the end it just feels bland, boring, and that they could have done better but didn't.

It's ok if you haven't played other VR shooters.
That being said in comparison to better VR FPS games it does a few things that really bug me with VR FPS games.
1. The guns reload automatically instead of letting you reload them.
2. They don't feel like they have any actual power behind them. It feels more like a laser gun that likes to shoot off in random directions.
3. Instead of letting you aim, it has an aim button instead that makes you shoot more accurately. While I understand why this is in the game I would rather aim myself to be more accurate.

Other thoughts:
Honestly, I think it would have also been a good move to enable cross play with this and normal Borderlands 2, just get rid of the slowdown effect to allow co-op.

All in all, it's not a terrible game. This is another example I wish I could leave a neutral review on as I don't feel horribly towards the game but it does enough things wrong that I can't recommend it for the asking price of $50 especially since it has no co-op. I found myself so many times thinking this was such a missed opportunity not including it.

Killing Floor 2... I have been playing this game since the very first beta. Played every single version of the game released to the public and have read every single update post. KF2 improves a lot from the first game, most notable being the graphics and animations inside of the game.

Enemies/Zeds

Can't have a shooter with out something to shoot at. In this game Zeds vary a lot in both function, design, and animation (I'll get more into in gunplay). Every single type of Zed acts a bit differently, even three different types of basic zeds that all move a bit different.

Bosses

At the end of the game (or every five rounds in endless) you will enounter a boss. Some will try to throw everything at once to take you out like King Fleshpound which others may try to widdle your team down slowly, taking you out one by one. All of the bosses take on your team in a different way and give you one last challenge before the end of the game.

Perks

As you play through the game you will earn XP for the class weapons you are using. When you level up you will get a set of passive bonuses to that class and every 5th level you get to choose a perk that can drastically change how you play your class (but not always). All of the classes feature different weapons that go with their style of fighting, some will cross over multiple classes however.

Guns/Gunplay

This is where KF2 shines the most. Every weapon feel powerful and even the weakest attack can kill the basic Zed. From pump action shotguns to the blast of a rocket. There is a weapon in the game for just about any playstyle and the gunplay is just amazing. Any time you try to attack or even aim at a head a zed may react to it. It ends up making you feel like you are holding a weapon that can actually kill.

All in all I suggest this game to any one who just like good gunplay and especially if you like horde shooters.

There isn't really much to say about this game that already hasn't been said. It's a classic and has survived far more years then most games can dream of. Like all games it isn't perfect but no matter what I will always see myself coming back to it and falling back in love with the characters and gameplay.

If you haven't tried the game, give it a shot. All it costs is your time.

Took it off the store only because they want people to play the remaster.
Even though the new one behaves a bit differently and changes multiplayer machanics I have come to respect.

Truly one of my favorite examples of a lot of game packed in a short time instead of what most games do by streatching it out. Every second in this game felt like I was moving through a living breathing world and each story I found just added to it.
The gameplay is quite simple but the way they executed it was done so well that it felt like you were there almost. If you ever have the chance give this game a try, you won't regret it.

While the game play is fantastic for this game I feel like the sound design brings it all together.
There isn't anything like hearing a rocket soar right past your head or the bullets hit the cover you're behind. Or how after getting shot in the head, for just a few seconds you hear and see nothing.

This game just wouldn't be the same with out it's sound design.
