+ Main protagonist was a joy to watch grow and develop
- You won't care about some of these characters - the roster is WAY too big
+ Entertaining and enjoyable romance plots
+ Some villains were interesting until the end (Mcburn!?)
- Some villains were a broken record and you will wish people killed them in an R rated fashion very quickly
+ You finally get to play as some AWESOME characters in some events
+ Some great character development with main characters

Graphics
+ Vibrant and colourful all round
+ Nice animations as per previous titled
- In game dialogue and story moments sometimes feature delays which kill climactic moments
+ Some great character and monster designs

Audio / OST
+ Memorable tracks in places
+ Voice acting is decent (English)
- On default, voice volume is extremely loud???
- Lacked some extraordinary soundtracks the previous titles excelled at

Story
+ So. Much. LORE!!!
+ Cleverly all pulled together in an epic final instalment of this game series
- Some may feel it's a bit obtuse and lengthy and could've been streamlined
- I straight up hated the 'broken record' nature of some villains and errands you had to get past just to reach better moments in this game (God bless turbo mode)
+ Genuinely surprising moments at times

Gameplay

+ Some fun new mechanics switch some small battle moments up a bit
+ Rewards endgame / completionist playthroughs
- Repetitive quests
+ Bond system impresses and rewards players to the very end
+ Easy travel

Conclusion
If you made it to IV from all 4 games, you may as well finish with this one. It took some plowing through and eventually it gets rewarded. It's satisfying to see characters develop to the end too. Replay value is decent, but I tend not to go back to a JRPG recently after beating it once. Be glad the story isn't Kingdom Hearts level of convoluted.
