Early Access Review
After spending more than 157 hours playing Nightingale, I feel the need to share my thoughts on this early access game.

At first glance, Nightingale offers an intriguing concept. Stranded beyond our world, players are tasked with becoming skilled Realmwalkers to navigate a web of transdimensional portals to eventually discover the magical city of Nightingale. The game's promise of venturing through mystical portals into a variety of fantastical realms, crafting tools and weapons, and exploring stunning Gaslamp Fantasy landscapes is undeniably captivating.

However, the game's execution falls short of its promising premise. The characters are disappointingly shallow, failing to engage players in the immersive world of Fae realms. The gameplay quickly becomes repetitive, and the mechanics are notably clunky, detracting from the overall enjoyment. Moreover, the absence of clear instructions results in simple tasks like crafting feeling unnecessarily complicated and frustrating.

The inventory, crafting, and quest systems are overly complex and confusing, making it challenging for players to fully immerse themselves in the game and enjoy the experience.

One significant issue that stands out is the lack of motivation to progress once you reach the Watch. After reaching this point, there's nothing compelling players to craft new and better gear or continue exploring the mystical realms, which significantly diminishes the game's replay value and long-term engagement.

Despite its flaws, Nightingale still manages to offer a moderate level of enjoyment, especially when played with friends in the shared-world realmscape. Working together to build communal estates, uncover the mysteries of the realms, and face the challenges of the Fae can be genuinely engaging and fun.

In conclusion, while Nightingale has considerable potential with its captivating concept and enchanting Gaslamp Fantasy world, its current execution fails to deliver a truly satisfying and immersive experience. I sincerely hope the developers address the game's issues in future updates to unleash its full potential and provide players with a more enjoyable and engaging survival crafting adventure. As it stands i cannot recommend the game.

Epic game. New maps, weapons, melee moves and enemies. I recommend this game to everybody who likes old school FPS games or to people who are bored with the new "realistic" FPSs like CoD and BF. Only bad thing is that it is Egypt again but it's not the end of the world and they made it look good.
