Used to play the hell out of this game ages ago on the Discord client or some random thing like that, so I didn't have much expectation for recovering my old cards and stuff.

The devs even did quite a bit of balance changing. Cards that I personally used to think were busted or cards you just needed to run because everyone else was running them got changed. They changed it to a 2 card draw, and took away the General abilities which confused me at first but I actually realized it's much better for the balance of the game. (Abyssal/ Songhai still good without General abilities, just seems less one-sided/uphill to fight against with other factions).

But turns out they don't have account recovery period so everyone who used to enjoy and play this game automatically takes an L. I find it purely comical that the Devs didn't just say "Hey build decks with any card you want for like 10 bucks" or something. Or the fact they said on their Kickstarter or whatever the heck it was that it would be Cosmetics you spend your actual money on to support the dudes who brought the game back. Why not make the base set free? It sucks cause the game is definitely good and I'm just totally uninterested in spending money on it again since everyone who bought cards in the first one got owned. Like I would've had no issues paying for a skin or something if they gave everyone every card. Feels kinda wack, also does nothing for new player retention. The game literally hasn't changed anything outside of the act of playing the game itself.

Another great foundation for a game that seems to be on its way to die... twice.

2080ti user, fixed stutter by running Borderless with no vsync @ 120fps, launch as admin. 1440p every setting on Epic and game runs fine.

Well I got it for half price, then I played enough to see that they have the FA-78 Gundam.

I'd never buy an SD model ever. I will be 1/144 till the death of me. But I will say that after seeing the little details on the "chibi" version of a giant war machine with like 4 shields strapped to it? It only makes me wonder what the Full Armor Unicorn is going to look like. They look so dumb but at the same time they retain their little details and quirks.

So yeah if you spend 90 bucks on this you're dumb for not buying XB3 or some other weeb game. The combat isn't anything beyond special and if it weren't for the fact you could get more suits and go past the level caps I wouldn't have bothered playing for more than like 2 or 3 hours. If you like weeb war machines find a way to get it for the low and/or before the multiplayer is a ghost town or play with the homies.
Fun so far, and can confirm I have seen some Japanese dude at level like 60 running around as the OG Red Astray.
