If you spend too much time thinking about what's bad, you risk missing what is good & right in front of you ~♡ It's been a difficult & strange year. A lot of us were thrown into chaos from the very beginning of it all and have learned so much throughout this long/uncertain journey of 2020. Now that we have reached 2020's end I think a lot of us fear what 2021 might bring. I think it's important to not get ahead of ourselves. A lot of knowledge/lessons & endurance has been gained this year. If we remain hopeful & persevere through the bad, I know we will make it through. A little patience & faith goes a long way too! Try to look at the year ahead as a brand new beginning with so much possibility for good. For now, enjoy the holidays, spend some extra time with those you hold dearest & remember to stay safe & kind, dream big and always, always choose love.

I find it incredibly amazing how at every sunset, the sky is a different shade. No cloud is ever in the same place. Each day is a new masterpiece. A new wonder. A new memory. If you can, try to make the most of it even if it's a difficult day. ~♡

I've learned a lot these past couple of months and now I have to accept the fact that even if I wish to see the good in everyone, some people are just mean spirited. As deeply as I wish for things to be different, they aren’t. The world can be a cruel and dark place. Sadly no amount of good can change that fact. But it’s important to remember that there isn’t anyone you couldn’t love once you’ve heard their story. Perhaps if we all took that message to heart daily, the world could be a better place.
