Greetings everyone!, I would like to share my experience with this game after beating it at 100%, and all 79 achievements unlocked.

It is a great game with great graphics and great gameplay, "IF" you don't have the issues many players are reporting.... so it is kind of a mediocre port which may disappoint players.
Some issues have been solved with the first 2 patches, some don't; I think that this game was not intended to be released on PC however the great port from death stranding which uses the same engine as Horizon makes me feel kind of confused.. Anyway...

First into technical details:

- The game plays absolutely great on a 1080 TI @ 2100 mhz, all graphics up (Except the motion blur which i detest), at solid 70/80 fps @ 2560x1440, with min fps at 55-57 when there is too much happening on the screen. However i Noticed that Gpu-z, windows manager and Precision X managed to report up to 10,850 mb of video memory usage!!, Wow!! not a single game i have played before in this resolution had used more than 8-9 gb of video memory. Optimization?, VRam Issues? was this on purpose? who knows.. only devs know..
What i can say from this, is that the medium graphic settings are the "Original" Ps4 specs, so better graphics and bigger textures would of course take more of your Vram.

- I had on all my 100+ hours of gameplay 3 crashes, 2 in game, and 1 when loading. So in my personal experience, i do not find crashes to be an annoying issue as many players are experiencing. Also the game was installed in a Seagate Firecuda M.2 NVMe 510, so loading times were really really low compared to those in the PS4, about 7-9 seconds when first game loaded, 5-6 secs when fast travelling from side to side of the map and as little as 1-2 secs when fast traveling in the same areas.

-Ram Usage was not that high, with maximum values of 7gb assigned to the game.

-With a ryzen 7 3700x, at most 6 cores and 12 threads were used but never at 100%, barely 75% each.

So playing this game was a very pleasant surprise and a very good experience even though I have already played it on PS4 and also got all trophies.

The game is exactly the same as the PS4 version, enhanced with some nice graphic additions which are appreciated, the best of all is the FOV slider and unlocked framerate as PS4 could only run the game at 4k "Checkerboard" @ 30fps which is really noticeable when normally playing at above 140hz on PC.

Mouse & keyboard support are awesome, you can bind all keys needed to match your play style, however in the end i found that playing with a controller was better for me, so no mouse & keyboard for me in this game. xD

The overall experience is great with some side quest being "kind of boring", which i think is normal in all this type of games, so no issues at all...

The frozen wilds expansion included in game is very nice but i recommend doing it after finishing the main story line because of the weapon upgrades and extra levels you can get in that new area, the final mission from the main story is really easy even on Very hard difficulty setting.

Being this the first kind of game from a developer known most for it fps games(Killzone franchise)... is a nice surprise to have them so involved and so dedicated to this product, if you have some time available, you should check one of the documentals from this game:

In my country (Mexico) the game is priced at 18 USD, so the value payed for the content of the game received i think is reasonable good.

I really hope that all port issues are solved as this is a great game so that all the people interested in the genre can enjoy it as it was intended.

500+ hours and still love this game, it is very fun with friends and even solo mode is very challenging. As many other people have written, there are still some bugs that might kill you or ruin your current match, however developers are very active and listening to the community feedback providing many fixes and patches.

This has been the best early access i have tried, as there is substancial and real improvement on the game since it launched back on March.

As everything else in life, you might like it or not, so i really recommend to watch some videos or streams first (And if you have friends who are interested, even better) in order to start fighting for your chicken dinner AkA "winner" :). Believe me, having some chicken dinner is extremely satisfying.

I hope this encourages you to at least try this excellent game and experience the feeling of a battle royale game.
