So this is a game about a japan made by polish devs, the concept is pretty interesting but the story is bit off, let me break it down for you

Physics
The car physics and drift mechanics are nice and close to sim racing, the only issue they have not fixed since the launch is the damn npc cars flying away like cardboard boxes on hit, it doesn't stop the car much and you both continue flying. I do love the feel of each car even though I mostly drive on RX7 FD and both modded and stock cars feel great, I would say even close to Asseto Corsa, but as I mentioned earlier, the punishment for crashes needs to be refined, otherwise you can literally fly on guardrails. Also what really annoyed me is when you get even a little off track, some invisible collider will make your car fly up, it annoys as hell, that place had literally solid grass coverage but SOMEHOW WE WENT UP

Map
The map here is just fcking awesome, a lot of curved routes and a lot of space to drift continiously and also with some real traffic and tight roads instead of big ahh highways (Looking at you forza, almost zero place to drift slow and nice and stylish), it takes a part in fictional japan but as I noticed it's a mix of everything, there's even a Kyoto Palace (Well I think it's called differently there but still worth a photoshoot, yes there's a some sort of photomode that is way too simple currently)

Story
Without any spoilers, because that's what you will get to know from the start, it's basically a polish guy making his way in drifting career while also trying to impress girls around. That's literally the plot, also a lot of initial D references that if you watched the anime you will understand, the starting car already reminds of something (Play the game to know what I mean). The manga storytelling is new to me in gaming industry but I would say it's too niche and art style is a little bit overpolished and sometimes just feels cringe, and no I am not some manga hater, I am myself a fan of "Nichijou" and "My deer friend nokotan" so I'm used to absurd but the manga in this game made me cringe several times, but I won't decline that it has interesting moments anyways, just the art style is off

Drifting System
It should've went to the physics category but man it would make it way too long, so the drift reward system is pretty interesting here, it doesn't reward as much good long drifts as some jiggly wiggling your bumper left'n'right, and in some moments where I need to get enough of points to pass there is a straight road, I get it, I can spam points and I did that otherwise I fail but atleast design the routes to go through curves to get enough points

Missions and overall difficulty
THe game seems WAYY too easy on the start but the difficulty tends to jump up and down sometimes especially that one GET AWAY MISSION, I get it, might be a skill issue, but atleast give the car some initial speed and not start from 0 on the middle of a road when pursuers are on their way already behind you

Customisation
Oh man here we go, so the performance modding is pretty okay and the interior customisation was something new to me but the main thing of drifting - decals, are NOT present there yet, yes you can change the color of your car and even neon underlighting but no decals just makes it all sad

Final words
In the end, there's still a lot to talk about this game because there are also a lot of nice and awesome things here to talk about and I do love the map the most. I do recommend you to buy it if you like Initial D and not just pure drifting, because if you are not a fan of anime or manga, be aware, you will cringe a lot

Great game for hack'n'slash and touhou fans to kill some time

I mean if you like it go on. But that game just hit harder then the fcking doki club, it can be granted with psycological horror title because of how it gets on your mind
All the dialogues with other machines, their stories and the narrator who already makes all seem that something is wrong, the sounds are I would say earbleeding a bit but managable

As a fan of touhou and rhythm games, this game has taken the best out of them both, the danmaku here is a bit too easy or hard as hell, there's no in between, because you need to have left hand on rhythm game and right hand to avoid bullets, some cards make danmakus way too easy, some cards make the danmaku unbeatable. But appart of it, the whole game is awesome

Chill and great song and it's also free, 10/10 ᗜˬᗜ

Do you like Guitar Hero or Fortnite Festival and want to start playing on real guitar? Then this game is right what you need! but you also need to buy a cable for 30 bucks
