Recently had my account hacked, if you got messages from my account about free csgo skins with links, obviously don't click them. I'm so sorry people had to get that spam! Everything is fine on my end so don't worry.

If you're wondering why I now have a VAC ban, that is due to Steam's incompetence. The ban occurred a few weeks after my account had been hacked, and I was informed that I was VAC banned from CSGO. No big deal, I haven't even played for years, and the only activity was clearly when my account was in the possession of said hacker. I filed a report to steam, to which I only received an automated message. While I don't have any plans to play CSGO again (haven't for years, really), it still annoys me that they are unwilling to rectify something that is entirely their fault. So if your account gets hacked and you get some ban, I'm sorry to say that steam has no interest in helping you.
