I really like this game and think its one of the better coop games out there but the issues are too big to ignore as of now. Glitches, balancing choices that make the game less fun, performance and connection issues, constant stutters, freezes and crashes which can include crashing your entire PC... Too many things are getting in the way of enjoying Helldivers 2

When it works it's fun but most of the time, it does not. If things improve, i will give it my recommendation but right now, its better to wait. If you really want a coop game to play right now, I will show my bias and recommend Deep Rock Galactic instead

As many issues as this game has, i can't deny it's fun. Although the cracks are really starting to show

As far as pros go it looks really good, has a lot of cars to be driven, the handling feels nice, has a nice big map and at times can truly be spectacular when the looks, feel and music hit the right spot.
But that's where most of the positives ends and the cracks & negatives show up.

Even though the map is large, it feels mostly empty when playing online due to the game being extremely poor putting down traffic unless you're playing solo where the map blooms with life. Also with the map being as big as it is now, it feels really bland with quite a bit of dead space even with a volcano in it.

The car selection is amazing but it feels like this game is leaning more towards Quantity > Quality. And new cars being dropped for free to the festival playlist are returning vehicles most of the time, with there being less new cars than the previous entry. And with some of these cars being at the playlist for a LIMITED time, the game forces you to play not out of joy but just because "that one car is there, might as well grab it"

The spectacle of the game can make it feel like a truly stunning experience, especially in showcases and the expeditions where the mood, the lighting and the music is right but the magic that is showcases are starting to fade away when the opponents lose speed suddenly at the most obvious way at end of the finish line, which was in Horizon 4 but not to an extent that was this bad thanks to that game using it's spectacle perfectly. Also the showcase events this time around feel kinda bland thanks to that magic starting to wear.

The progression is non-existent thanks to wheelspins being the main way of getting money and vehicles but with how many cars there are, i feel like it's a necessary evil, although i wished the progression was tweaked.

The dialogue is so bad it's not even good. I can get behind the whole "positive festival vibes" and negativity not being a thing but the complete lack of it is incredibly hard to get around. I didn't expect a story worthy of anything nor did i expect good dialogue or even meaningful dialogue to begin with but yet i was disappointed. It feels incredibly uncanny which could be fixed with few characters coming by and saying mean things. Or taking Horizon 1's dialogue and having actual rivals we face. But instead we got dialogue that is better to be disabled the moment you get the opportunity

Lastly i want to talk about the music and the censorship. Not only is the music in Horizon 5 too rubbish and not having enough songs, the censorship of some parts of the lyrics is some of the most ridiculous yet, with mundane words like "Soldier" or "Bathroom stall" being censored. Not to mention that censoring some of the songs that tend to be more about profanity ruin the pacing and feel of the song completely. There should... Actually no, needs to be an option to toggle profanity on songs whenever the next Horizon comes. There are definite banger songs in the game but overall, it's lacking quite a bit.

But even with these flaws, FH5 isn't a bad game. It's definitely well made and has some good things in it but the negatives and cracks have started to pile up. Honestly, the only reason i'm recommending this game is because there's not too many racing games like this out there that are this quality. It's not a 10/10 masterpiece, it's just an alright game made bland due to it's cracks in the engine block.

TL;DR: A fun, good-looking and well-playing game that has quite a lot of flaws but still manages to be enjoyable... At least for now. If you're looking for a fun game to spend time with this will definitely work but if you're looking for an experience that feels like it has passion behind it, i wouldn't blame you if you decided to skip this

The primary gameplay loop is solid and pacing is nicely done. At one point you might just be walking in the halls, trying to find ores, another point you might be killing loads of bugs in gunplay that feels really good. The classes are nicely done and when combined together, make for a really nice team. Playing with randoms is fun but playing with friends... Oh boy do things get wild!

This is one of the weirdest puzzle games i've played and it is great!

There are hundreads of puzzles and ways to solve them. Give it a go, it's worth it!

It's fun. What else can i say? The condo building is fun and allows you to make your place feel unique!
The minigames are, in most part fun with few bugs in them.
The plaza is a fun place to go and chill with friends or play lots of minigames there!
And the workshop scene is great, allowing you to make your own avatars and such.

It's a buggy mess and i love it! Probably one of my most favorite co-op games.
It has a lot of cool things in it and modding support, allowing you to make custom heists or weapons!
Gameplay is alright? It tends to crash thanks to the diesel engine, but atleast it runs...

It's a fun game which looks beautiful. It's especially fun with friends if you want to do strikes, but there's quite a few things to do if your going alone. The expansion is worth it and the game that cost 60$ before now given to us free gets a positive review from me

An original game concept recreated and making it better! They could have just reshipped the first game with 2 on the end but they decided to basically recreate the game from scratch and improving on the mechanics. Although i'll make the arguement that it feels a bit too easy if you played the original metric-ton of times. It is worth the money though and a game truly worth buying if you want a quick stress-reliefer or stress-increaser idk.

A timeless masterpiece with 9 classes, bunch of maps, a fun PvE mode and most importantly... Hats!
