The core concept of this is you drive fast and overtake vehicles to get a high-score... That's, kinda it.

I very narrowly give this a positive review because it does kinda get boring pretty quick, but it's cheap as hell so that doesn't really matter. The thing that made this game tolerable for me is custom music to chill and drive to, of which they want you to pay for that. But I'm a cheap ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who would rather just keep tabbing out to youtube. If you don't do that though you have the option of their stock songs, which, I didn't really like. And if you turn them down it's just lame looped engine noise, which really isn't satisfying. Same with the boost, that's broken. It doesn't really do anything. If you're like, 7 minutes into a run, and then use the boost for the first time, it just doesn't work, it sounds like firing an smg in GTA:SA.

I've played enough to get a million score in one of the modes and all except 3 achievements, and it's fun for like, maybe 15 minutes a pop, I could've been slumped in my chair just listening to music and had a similar amount of fun. The game is super rough around the edges. The money counting sound is so incredibly annoying but thankfully it cuts out, even though it shouldn't. In the bomb mode, the bomb keeps ticking after it's exploded? There's like, no benefit to buying the expensive cars because they're all the same speed as the second available vehicle.

I wanted to play this just to grind the achievements, give it a review, and then dip to the next thing. But there's no way in hell i'm gunna keep booting this game up to do a thousand identical runs which are really stingy with how much they pay you. My million score run on normal one way only gave me like $40,000.

I do recommend this game for one very niche purpose. If you like the aesthetic of the 80's, then smoke a joint, listen to your own music, and do a couple runs before doing something else. Beyond that, if you're entirely sober then it's repetitive as hell. Not terrible, but could be a little better. Like, idk, have the more expensive cars give you a higher combo multiplier or something.
