I saw this was an issue on a post from 2 years ago. Still lags when song changes. You have to anticipate it or pause and wait. Makes it annoying to get a decent score. Otherwise great game, love it. This is the only issue I have.

This is kind of required for an arcade racer. A standard Xbox controller should just work out of box.
