One of the most fun multiplayer shooters i have ever played. There's a bit of a learning curve to stealth and learning what stuff can appear suspicious to other players, but the push and pull of this game's pacing and combat is unlike anything i've ever seen. Almost always if you get shot "out of nowhere" as a new player there is something you did that made you look suspicious that you can learn to mitigate, especially since players are heavily punished by accruing Heat that makes them take more damage when ruthlessly shooting NPCs.

Also, don't let the player count fool you. At least from an NA server perspective, queues are fast for Solo, Duo, and Trio, and I've rarely ever seen matchmaking take too long outside of like 2am queueing. Playerbase is very active for its size.

jupiter picross/nonogram, and there's a funny little wizard guy. what more could you need.

the rewind feature is very good to see carried over from picross S9, it's helpful to be able to check back on past actions to pinpoint where something went wrong

stressful but very manageable with a zen-like focus. the music going overwhelmingly hard helps with that

typing of the dead if it was epic

(but seriously this game is really fun, play it and/or its sequels for keystrokes under pressure moments)

you go fast. fluid movement feels good. campaign was very fun.

If you avoided this collection from launch due to issues such as the lack of content and low-quality audio, now is a much better time to pick up the MCC. Now, Halo 1-4 & Reach are in the collection, audio problems are fixed, and there is now a challenge-based system that can be used to acquire seasonal content alongside standard leveling.

Only major blunders as far as I'm aware that might prevent you from purchasing this as a Halo fan are:
- No split-screen co-op or custom games, only online lobbies
- Online co-op has some input delay (most prevalent with Reach, less noticeable with 1-4. This is due to engine limitations and may take an extremely long time for 343 to fix.)

Other than that, 343 has done a great job bringing all of these games to PC in good-quality (and improving) ports.

Very good port, you can see the Digital Foundry video on how this accurately represents the original N64 graphics and effects as compared to the DOOM 64 EX and Absolution versions. If you want to play through DOOM 64, I would say this is the absolute most definitive way to do so.

Pretty much requires voice chat. There's currently no other method of communication, so unless you can rig some kind of text-to-speech or voiceclip program, you'll need a mic. Other than that, this is definitely one of the best online multiplayer games I've played recently, especially due to the conflict between different factions and the unique abilities that the SCP players get.

i bought this game as a joke and i'm still let down
not worth a purchase at all. there's nothing here.
