When I got the key to this I didn't think it was going to be that fun of a game. I didn't know anything about it and went in completely blind. I thought it was just trying to capitalize on the popularity of Vampire Survivors and it does feel like the FPS version on it. But my opinion went from "meh" to "THIS IS AWESOME!" as soon as I realized I could have a screen full of guns! There's something satisfying about it and after doing several runs on the survival mode, I realized there was a campaign!

Honestly, for $10 this isn't a terrible game to pick up. It's fun! The music is good, the gameplay is exciting yet relaxing. It's a game that has more to it than you'd think!

The heist is great but the price is too much. I'm glad they stuck to their old method of "as long as 1 person has the DLC, you can play it." The new enemy is being tested here and she's real hard rn so I'm sure they're going to nerf her a bit before she gets added to the rest of the maps. I say, wait for a sale to pick up the map but you can get the guns rn

A week after the game was released the server issues were mostly resolved. You could find a game in a reasonable amount of time, you wouldn't get disconnected from a match until you've already finished it (as if that makes sense but that's the only way I can describe it)

People keep saying that it's a buggy mess and act like it's unplayable in it's current state but won't specify what bugs they have encountered. I've only run into 1 or 2 bugs. I have seen some complex ones that require you to do specific things into order to leave the map. It seems like people are just mad about the game being always online and are looking for other things to hate on. The always online does suck but they are working to remove that. However the Patch has taken over a month to come out and that does suck but at least they've been open about why. They realized that if they released it then it would have deleted everyone's data

I often see people complaining about how there isn't a lot of content in the game even though they've been working on the game for 10 years, even though development only really started about 4 years ago and they've also been updating PAYDAY 2 while developing PAYDAY 3. PAYDAY 2 was also pretty slim on launch, with 1/5 of the levels being the same bank and 2 were the same Jewelry store and the first update wasn't out for almost a month

People need to be patient and not attack developers who are trying to fix the game for them. Remember Cyberpunk, Fallout 76, ESO, and Halo MCC? All had the same issues and now they're super popular games

Worth it! Yes there's a free browser version but that has a bug where it'll delete your save after several months. With this, you'll have the Steam Cloud so you don't have to worry.

It isn't perfect though! If you're going for achievements like I was, it's possible that you'll get the achievement in-game but it won't trigger on steam. You'll have to restart to get those but there are mods to help with that. Happy clicking!

It's a short experience but it's a memorable one. You can 100% the game in about 4 hours. That doesn't mean it's not worth it because the urge to come back to this game is strong

It's short. I beat the game and got all the achievements in 1.4 hours but man it's good. For $3 it's worth it

So much better than Rainbow 6 Siege! Now if only they could get better marketing so more people can see that.

IT HAS RETURNED! So I was I working on a video to talk about how this game was taken from us too early and was never given the chance to make it because of the actions of the publisher. They made the developer switch from a free to play to a full $60 game when the game is multiplayer only. Imagine buying vanilla Dead By Daylight or Among Us for $60 and that's what 2K did to this game. That's why there were so many skins and DLC announced before the game even launched, it was supposed to be a free game because it was multiplayer only.

After a year of struggling, it finally got the change to free to play that it needed but it was too late. People felt burned and hated the game before they even gave it a chance. Finally, it has the potential now to be the game it was supposed to be and I hope it works out this time. The lore of this game is amazing and the gameplay is unique and fun! The jet packs can get a bit frustrating at times but when you get a good team together the game is so satisfying. When you have a good fight you won't even be mad if you lose.

This is one of the few singleplayer games I've beaten several times. Every level feels unique it how it looks and feels. Every battle arena has something memorable whether it be good or bad. I find myself coming back to DOOM Eternal often and the DLCs add a lot of new and interesting gameplay mechanics for the levels they add. This has been one of the best game purchases I've ever made.

With that said there are a few issues. A big one being Battlemode. I'm glad ID Software wanted to do their multiplayer in house this time but I actually really enjoyed the previous PvP. Battlemode can just get frustrating but if you're someone who's trying to get all the achievements or just want to play with a friend, thankfully you can just use private matches with friends to get them.

Something else I've seen complaints about that I somewhat agree with is the more video gamey feel to the game. It's a nice throwback but I did like the gritty look and feel of DOOM 2016. I even liked the look of that armor more. BUT overall DOOM Eternal has quickly become one of my favorite games and continues to show that just because a franchise is old doesn't mean it still can't be good.

It's fun! BUT I think they should have worked on it for another year so there would be more content like Forge and game modes. They are adding game modes and at least every map is good. Even its worst map is better than 343's previous maps.
