Pros:
Great game for zombie killers, has aspects of Rust and Zomboid, with its own twists.
The game takes a little to learn the mechanics but very simple.
Big map and has environmental randomness every time you spawn.
Has a fun and layered grind feeling even if you are just running around trying to level up or clear areas.
Great crafting system like Tarkov that allows you to craft guns ammo and so much more.
Building feel very clean and you can choose between many different build options.

Cons:
Not many updates since release (its still Beta)
Skill tree could use more things and maybe other characters could make it easier to make larger skill trees.
No story like at all where a great one could be made for single player maps
No multiplayer but has so much potential for it with boss zombies and rust building mechanics imagine the fights that could happen between factions fighting for airfield.
Not the most weapons but they def have a good supply
1 map is great but a variety would be cool or even just changing positions of key areas on save files would be cool to keep it fresh.

In summary very fun well balanced zombie game with good features that make you wanna grind for about 100 hours until clearing hazard zones just feel tedious and like your finding something to do. If they want this game to be great they have aspects of great games in a zombie game but truly a playable game they need to find aspects that keep the player playing. EX: Rust you play because, Solo, duo, or 7+ people the experience for the most part is unpredictable and different every time you sign in. Surrounded just needs to find that aspect. Adding multiplayer servers will help with that if the developers keep love with this game it can be an amazing zombie game single or multi player.

Overall: 7/10 Really needs more playability for longer sessions, a few glitches, no story, but great game overall just needs that extra year of time and creativity and you have a Zomboid competition.

Great Game, looks like roblox but plays like a battlefield. The Creaters and devs are fantastic at updating the game and keeping new content flowing! There are glitches like all games they are not game breaking or ruin the experience it just makes it better. For the price of what its at and the fact it released and played better then battlefield 2024, CS2, Overwatch 2, etc. It is 100 percent worth it and I highly Recommend.
Also please add shotguns! and WW2 style guns would be super fun

Hey whats up, it's Storm here coming at you with my first review ever so I wont try to sweat to hard when writing this.

Overview of the game....
To begin I would like to say I am a huge enthusiast of the first person shooter/battle royal Genre, starting off with Call of Duty, CSGO and going to PUBG, H1Z1, Fortnite Etc. So I have a lot of experience in this Genre to say the least. So now what about ROE (Ring of Elysium)? Well, I can definatly say I will probably be playing this game way more then I would like to admit. This is definatly one of the few really good FTP games on Steam. It really brought me back to the PUBG days with the gun fights I had and with the Terrain around you. This game is based on a snowy map with tall mountains with large flat fields with a bundle of trees or rocks here and there. The vast terrain makes long and short distance fights unique and sometimes nerve wracking. The Guns they provide for you to pick up are vast and come with a wide variety of attatchments. Not only that but you also can customize your character like an RPG and they do a crate system very similar to PUBG for rewards that you can open. Now just like every game it has its Pros and Cons.

Pros.
Wide gun Variety
Classes that give you an ability (only 3)
Sounds are very life like
Graphics very clean for a FTP
Map is large and every area is different
Took a turn on PUBG and made it fun
Gameplay is quick
Hitboxes are good

Cons.
Many weapons and attachments need to be balanced (Flash HIder Is OP AF)
Vehicles are overly sized and overly loud
Sometimes gun shots will be heard from your left but the guy be on your right.
Very many spots to camp
LVL 1 armor ez to find anything else very hard to find.
Servers are iffy at times

Conclusion
After playing the game for about 2 hours that I did not have, I have found to love this game and I think the map, the combat, and all the small little twists they have added to the game make it a really fun game and it definalty out weighs the cons. It is a very nice beginning Battle Royal for newwer people looking into the genre and it gives a really nice PUBG feel without it being PUBG. I think that the games go fast and the games overall are very smooth. I suggest Getting and trying even if you dont like shooters. The one thing I would say though is the aiming takes time to learn and I am not sure about gun spray patterns or bullet drop.
