Yes, if you are wanting the full story, just go on youtube and watch someone else's playthrough of Episode I so you don't have to. This Episode is what the first could have been if there as a little more thought put into it, all around though this one was much more enjoyable than the first.

While it may not be the best Sonic game by a longshot, I still find this game to be tons of fun, and I would highly recommend picking it up on sale.
