This game overall sucks so bad it was hard to play. I hate the combat, I hate the story (SO MUCH), writing? Terrible, the gunplay is the same as all the other saints game but with less quirky fun guns. All characters are forgettable, I 100%'d this game to truly prove my point, this was the biggest waste of time game I have ever played. Jesus christ even the DLC sucked, and boy was it all just a miserable experience. One dlc is just professor genki island with modifiers that are all boring. Their D&D missions & DLC is just cringe as hell. There is no winning. Do not buy this game at all. Not on sale. Not ever. It is not worth it. Will never be worth it. Buggy mess, Dlc missions & Circus had a 1/3 chance to crash when I played them. God what a headache this game was.

Honestly, enjoyable.
A few of the tech issues have been fixed already, such as frequent crashes/unreliability in parties has already been patched.
Stability patch has helped the game a good bit
Alongside after day-1 disconnects are much less frequent (from what I've seen)

Still will get the occasional crash, and I've gone through a lot trying to fix the stuttering/screen tearing issue - It is caused by the newest nvidia drivers, if you have this problem, I recommend downloading nvidia driver 522.25 - completely fixed for me.

Guns feel good, marksmans might be a bit too strong, but everything does have killing power, campaign was enjoyable, and so were the 3 co-op missions that were implemented. Not a bad buy, just sucks it's $70 instead of $60. Bad precedent to set.

And yes shotguns are annoying as always.

This game may be an RTS, but it isnt the best RTS, and it isn't really close, You can rush in Boid, no tactics like a true RTS would have, no strats, just making a hundred crabs and rushing the enemy, on every map, i am sad, because this could've turned into a really cool game!

So, I've Thought about this, and my recommendation is to not buy the game yet, for it is in to early of a state to play. They did what they wanted, i mean even read the description!

“We're conscious that remaking a game such as The Ship is a delicate process, so we wanted to build the core game and get it in front of fans of The Ship to see what they think. We've made a number of minor changes from the original and would like to take player feedback on these."

But, the game is way too buggy and sorry to say but not fun enough to play as of yet. If you get attacked in the game, no sound, so you don't know your being attacked. The textures are almost the same, except for a ton of polishing, which is extremely nice, they look brand new! But that seems to be all that they have added so far... The models are essentially the same, and the weapon textures seem to be as well. The game is TOO EARLY for the time it has been MADE in.

We do really want a ship remastered. But what we don't want to see is, The ♥♥♥♥ Remastered... Get it? There needs to be more work done for this game, so as of now, i will stay updated, and i will 100% change my review as soon as this stuff is fixed! Also, AI does not function as well as it should. And multiplayer SUCKS! Extremely hard to play, and connect. Anyway, i say goodbye to this game until the next update.
