I'm reversing my negative review into a positive one.
The devs have listened to the community uproar and reverted a change before it was too late.
Let this be a lesson for PC players about Sony published games, this could happen in future releases.


I will still leave part of my negative review up as it hasn't been addressed.


What has yet to be addressed by the devs:

Unfortunately we're 3 months after release and they still haven't addressed a major issue for azerty keybinds converting to qwerty everytime the game launch, so if you're using zqsd it automatically rebind itself to wasd everytime the game launch, forcing me to rebind them along other keys that get misplaced like the numpad keys.

It's unacceptable that they haven't fixed it yet.

I enjoyed playing Overwatch 1

But they killed the game for this.

Don't waste your time on this game please, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Season 4 is the season where the game won't let you find matches, good job devs.
After season 2 and 3 awful changes, we're back for more awful decisions by the devs.

This time cross-region matchmaking with friends doesn't work anymore.
The only way to play cross-region is to use a VPN and set it all to the same region.

Don't waste your time on this game if you want to play with friends across different regions.

I bought this game to play it coop like the first one because I enjoyed it.

Unfortunately the game in its current state wont let me play online at all because my I have over 300 people in my friendlist.
I have 1.1k friends on steam, I'm not removing 800 people just to play a single game.

The singleplayer seems fine, but that's not why I wanted to play this game.

I can't in good faith recommend this game.

I purchased it to complete my Neptunia collection since I'm a fan of the franchise, to 100% it like the rest, but...
... 2 achievements were unreachable because the game would freeze while recording a BeatTik, so it was impossible to do any of the Video Battler achievements, I ended up using SAM for them.

Pro:
-Improved character models
-New maps, may not sounds like much but it's a breath of fresh air considering every other neptunia games reuse maps for dungeons.
-3D character during VN cutscenes instead of the usual live2D from other games
-Kizuna AI and Towa Kiseki DLC adds a story that happens post-game.
-Faira and Kado are waifu material



Cons:
-Poorly optimized PC Port, lots of framedrops.
-The gameplay, I couldn't bind anything on the mouse, I ended up playing through the entire thing on a controller since it was less painful overall.
-The lack of english Dub, obviously due to the vtubers being there.
-The Vtubers are underused, seriously don't get this game if that's all you care about, you'll just end up disappointed how they used them.
-BeatTik feels like an after-thought thrown in at the last moment.

While the music may or may not be your style, I would recommend downloading it as it is free and it add a new BGM file that can be modded to replace to anything you like (like the actual opening music, instead to the remix.)
