Do you know that feeling when you notice a situation in a game where you think to yourself "huh I wonder what will happen if I do this" and then you're disappointed because there is an invisible wall or an npc doesn't react to what you just did etc? Well this game is the opposite of that.

There is no incentive to visit previous locations apart from getting 100% after you finish the game. 75% of your enemies and obstacles are going to kill you in one hit so that's kind of annoying. It's not a very easy game.
Mechanics 4/5
Don't use keyboard only controls because later in the game you'll learn spells that require precise aiming impossible to achieve without a mouse.
Story 3/5
Cute at times but mostly tawdry and full of very cheap plot hooks.

Overall it's worth its money if you like Metroidvania games.
