I did this for the badge but this game is good

Sniper Elite V2 is a 2012 third-person tactical shooter stealth video game developed and published by Rebellion Developments in 2012. It is the remake to its 2005 predecessor Sniper Elite, which takes place in the same time-frame and location—the Battle of Berlin in April–May 1945.

The game begins throwing you into a simple tutorial teaching you the basics of movement, stealth, and traps. After this tutorial you see all of the work you put in placing mines and trip wires slowly working as you escape from a German Tank known as Tiger I.

The game can be played loud or stealth and includes a variety of levels which have multiple routes to complete. After playing this game in its initial release in 2012 I found that it tops most stealth based shooters from 2012 not including Dishonored, Hitman Absolution, or Mark of the Ninja. I fully hardheartedly enjoy this game and can say that this was a giant step up from it's later installments.

Rebellion Developments did an amazing job on this game and continue to release some of the most enjoyable games on steam to date.

Sniper elite is based on the first covert battles of the Cold War April 1945. As a war breaks out between the Soviets and Germans in Berlin you are playing as the protagonist of Sniper Elite, Karl Fairburne, a German-born American OSS operative disguised as a German sniper.

Sniper elite was available on macOS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Wii, Xbox by the first release in 2005. As a third person stealth shooter I would rate this game a 3/5 for being a game released in 2005. Overall the Gameplay is very point to point and feels empty at times. I revisited this game multiple times in 2014-2016 finding that every chance I gave it I did not fully enjoy myself. Now that I am replaying the game in 2022 I have found that compared to the newer releases this game does not stand a chance which is to be expected. If this were back when the game released I'm sure my personal review would have changed but as I am now coming back to this game I find little to no enjoyment in this installment.

Rating this game based on being a shooter from 2005 I would say this game does not compare to games such as Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, Area 51, and Commandos Strike Force which do have some amazing aspects from being released on the same year.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.

Rainbow Six offers four game modes in total for PVE and three for PVP.

Terrorist Hunt Mode (PVE) has four gamemods. Terrorist Hunt Classic, Hostage Extraction, Protect Asset, and Disarm Bomb.

-Terrorist Hunt Classic-
The objective of this mode is to eliminate all enemy terrorists that are fortified within the compound

-Hostage Extraction-
This mode requires you to locate and safely extract the hostage back to a certain location on the map.

-Protect Asset-
You and your team have been ordered to protect a high value asset at all costs, you start off within a room and need to fortify defenses before attackers arrive to eliminate your asset.

-Disarm Bombs-
Terrorists have fortified a target location and armed two bombs that are minutes away from detonation. You need to infiltrate their defenses and disarm both bombs.

Multiplayer Mode (PVP) has three gamemodes. Secure Area, Bomb (Diffuse or Plant), and Hostage (Defend or SAR.)

-Secure Area-
Secure area is effectively capture the flag. The terrorists have a container filled with a biochemical that they intend to use as a weapon. Team Rainbow has received intel of the containers location and have arrived to secure the container until the hazmat team can come and retrieve the container. In this mode you are either on the defending or attacking team.

-Bomb-
As a defender one pair of sites will be utilized per round. The objectives of this mode are either plant the defuser (Attacker), Prevent defuser from being planted (Defender), or Eliminate all opposing operators.

Attackers can pick their spawn outside of the building.

-Hostage-
As a defender one pair of sites will be utilized per round. The objectives of this mode are either Search & Rescue the hostage (Attacker), Prevent the hostage from being rescued (Defender), or Eliminate all opposing operators.

I've absolutely enjoyed the time I've been able to have with my friends on this game and still cherish the memories we've shared in countless situations. I would whole heatedly suggest this game to any group to try to play and clown around in.

The solo PVP scene can become toxic due to the community and can ruin the game for most but there is an option to mute if you enjoy quiet competitive solo play. As this game offers PVE and PVP I've provided a rating for both below.

Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Valve. Like most MOBA's this is a 5v5 defense game.

I've played countless hours on this game across multiple accounts accumulating over 6000 hours in total. This game is an absolute blast with a wide variety of heroes and play-styles. There are currently 121 Heroes in Dota 2 as of 4/12/2022 and soon to include a lot more to come. Dota 2 offers tournaments, game types such as Ability Draft, Single Draft, All Pick, and workshop community game-modes. I would absolutely suggest this game to anyone who is a fan of MOBA type games. This game is not only ability based but also depends on it's unique item system ranging from passive items that help you gain more ground in the battlefield stat wise but as well disable items which can help focus the opposite teams MVP.

I would absolutely suggest playing this game if you are looking to have fun with friends, Solo, or if you are looking for competitive gameplay as well.

LYNE is a minimalist puzzle game developed and published by Thomas Bowker in 2014.

LYNE is primarily bought on steam due to the list of achievements the game has to offer. Though this game is bought for this reason the game is an extremely fun and simple puzzle game.

This game is extremely simple but offers spectacular calm and ambient audio which I would suggest to someone who needs to calm their nerves.

Unturned is a free-to-play survival game developed by Smartly Dressed Games, a studio consisting solely of Canadian game designer Nelson Sexton.

My personal opinion on this game is solely based on my group experience. From the base game, all the way to modding, the game is amazing to play with friends but also offers a solo survival aspect; though I may not recommend playing solo, this option may still be found appealing to others. I absolutely recommend this game to groups who can host a LAN/private game including modded content.

Without this personal interaction I've had with my friend group I do not suggest playing this game alone but suggest you play in your own private game as the state of the game has changed from being a survival open world to a PVP battered /Kit mishmash freak show. The survival aspect of the game alone on public servers has changed.

I would not suggest this game to anyone looking for a survival open world unless you play on your own LAN-based server.
