New World has to be one of the most soulless, spiritually lacking games I've ever played in my over 15+ years of gaming.

[0/5] THE ARTIFICIAL GRIND: NO HORSES MOUNTS?!! HMMMMMMMMM we have WOLFS, LARGE CATS, ALLIGATORS, BISON, ELK, BEAR, BOAR HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM BUT NO HORSES TO RIDE OH!! I See how it is 0_o

[1/5] QUESTING/PVE: unimaginative enemies, generic fetch questing, forces you to play in a group since it's impracticable and quite boring to play by yourself. (no real drive or meaning to complete the quests given other than leveling up)

[1.5/5] PVP: Not very skill-based (besides the musket), very spammy, hold left mouse or spam AOE flame staff (WAR ONLY).

[1/5] WORLD BUILDING: Uninteresting, lacking depth; no real intriguing narrative that forces or pulls you in for example no
cinematics, interactive dialogue, character or world development.

[2/5] WARS: Fun if you're lucky enough to get in; simply put if you ain't level 60 or suck some hard ♥♥♥♥, you ain't playing one, that or untill the player base dies down which won't be long

[4/5] ENVIRONMENT/GRAPHICS: Other than some of the towns being copy and paste, the in-game world is beautiful.

[1/5] PERFORMANCE: Disappointing such as many modern titles, 30-50 fps in towns/wars/some pve; 70-85 fps in open world on low with a RTX 3060 LAPTOP to be fair playing on a 2K 32-inch monitor. still pretty pathetic optimisation.

new world leaves much to be desired, please don't waste your time on this unfinished game and don't hold your breath waiting for any big changes/updates it will take years and the game will probably be dead by then; what you see is what you get unfortunately.

rust is probably one of the most addicting games I've ever played, The reason for that is it's never ending sure there're server wipes and restarts but never ending in the fact when you stop playing your character sleeps in the game still vulnerable to death or (rape); which means you have to make sure that your base is save enough to protect your character or play with others so they will protect you

I rate RUST an 10/10 9/8.5 M3+3+3=9 best $20 ever spent
