Found the story very cliche and predictable at certain stages of the game and took some hours to really get into it. I love the progression and levelling of this, it's a very unique take on the RPG element and found this game very hard to close once I would start it up. The early stages of the game are by no means easy, and that's intentional as a new/young vampire you're meant to gradually get stronger as you unlock your abilities. As a massive fan of "The Witcher 3"'s combat mechanics, I couldn't get enough of the engagments in "Vampyr", although the lack of a difficulty option made combat very easy for me come late game. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in Vampire Lore and is looking for a casual and entertaining game.

One of my all time favourite games, but isn't everyone's cup of tea.

The RNG in this game can be maddening at times, esspecially when you've dedicated over 5 hours to a certain objective only to have it butchered by RNG, but that just adds to the fun of the game (not everything can or will go your way).

Combat in this game is (in my opinion) the best of any previous Paradox game. Unfortunately though, the AI enjoys spamming single tier ships in late game, which can really lag your play.

This game has been optimised amazingly by the dev team, and while there are still issues here and there I cannot recommend this enough
