Middle-earth: Shadow of War is a perfect example of a company tarnishing a games legacy by being greedy and attempting to take advantage of its fans. This is an amazing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. The returning nemesis system is some of the most fun I've had in an open world in a while. There have been several times throughout my current playthrough where I've lost track of time building my army and getting my revenge on captains. Combine that with an excellent story that wasn't afraid to take risks and incredible controls and movement. I know that most of the concepts in this game are just copy pasted from Arkham but at the same time I don't think Rocksteady has ownership of free form combat games (Spider-man for example. Another wonderful title that fleshed out the free form concept and added their own spin on it.) The nemesis system allows for hundreds of possible captain encounters to take place. Some captains will go down easier than my dad when he's wearing his crocs in December, others will take you out and use your death to promote them to a higher rank. Which has led to some incredible showdowns that had an immense amount of satisfaction. I think in 2021 this game is a must play. Especially now that WB has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off and disabled their horrible MTX system. If you enjoy the Arkham series in any way and also happen to be a LOTR fan, I'd recommend it even more. In 2018 I might have given this a lower score due to WB's blatant screwing of the fans that we're highly anticipating the sequel to a great game.

Alan Wake was a very mixed experience for me. The game was fun, but the ammount of repetition and mission similarities made the experience much less enjoyable. I rate 6/10

The idea of charging money for two different versions of a game that people already owned is absolute bad business. The fact that the devs don't have enough respect for the gaming community to know that a change like this is bad is appauling. The game isn't even out of beta yet, on top of that there is micro transactions. Don't you guys have enough money yet?

It's got an alien in it. And it doesn't suck....also, GET AWAY FROM HER YOU ♥♥♥♥♥
