I can easily say that this is one of my all-time favourite games. I absolutely love the entire Arkham series, but Arkham Knight is definitely the best title of the four (including Arkham Origins). This game is simply breath-taking in every possible way.

The story is awesome and captivates the player from the beginning to the end. This is what perfect storytelling should look like! Also, you will encounter all of Batman’s main villains in one single game! And not only the main campaign is freaking awesome, the side quests are too!! I completed every single side quest and all of the DLC story packs, because this game is simply so much fun (apart from the 260 Riddler challenges to unlock the secret ending, because those are just a pain in the ass). But why is it so fun? Because of the gameplay.

The gameplay… Oh boy, the gameplay. It is simply perfect. If you ever wanted to play the Batman you see in movies and comics, this is the game to go for. Beat enemies up, solve riddles, fight and arrest villains, use all of the high technology gadgets from the bat-belt, fly over Gotham and take important decisions. You even get to drive and shoot with the batmobile. A feature that didn’t exist in the other games. And there are more new features and gadgets that have been included: fear takedowns, duo (team) takedowns, voice synchronizer, etc.

A design idea that I really appreciated was the evidence room, which serves as museum of all the enemies we defeated. Their main items such as weapons, masks, etc. are displayed in there. In fact, the whole police department is basically a museum, as all enemies you arrested, are gathered there in different cells (and sometimes in one big cell).

Furthermore, the graphics are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. I can’t believe this game is from 2015. 6 years old!!! The voice acting is really well done too, and the cut scenes and the dialogues adapt depending on where you are in the story and which missions you have already done. A small, but very nice, detail making the game even better.

To sum it up, an absolutely perfect game. This might become my new favourite game. There is nothing bad I can say about it. It is truly a masterpiece. Also, I recommend purchasing the Arkham Knight Premium Edition which includes the Season Pass and therefore all DLCs. There is some really good content.
