Decent game, pretty enjoyable to play even. But Blizzard took away the original Overwatch in order to completely change the way they monetize the game in "predatory" ways / implement battlepasses, and pretty much add nothing else aside from slapping the name Overwatch 2 on it. This game could have been a simple update, but instead they promised a full blown PvE mode alongside Overwatch 2 to lure people in - Shortly after release, they completely cancelled this mode entirely - Yet now all of a sudden what is this?! A half baked PvE mode called "Invasion" that they're trying to charge $15 dollars for?!...No shot. This company is out of touch and just looking to milk money out of you while putting in zero effort. If you want to play for free, sure check it out. It has its enjoyable moments, But don't give money to/support this company, they don't deserve it

This game is a thumbs up for me, not because it was amazing by any means - but it definitely gives a small taste here and there that's reminiscent of the older games. If you loved the oldschool Battletoads games from the NES / SNES era - this game is worth a pickup. Mainly for nostalgia reasons alone - it's enjoyable to finally revisit the Battletoads universe after all these years.

However, it must be mentioned that this ISN'T your oldschool Battletoads game. It focuses mainly on Nostalgia and does a pretty good job at nailing those quirky / fun moments from 20 years ago, but the overall gameplay doesn't really compare. It feels different and not necessarily in a good way, that doesn't mean that the combat is bad by any means though. I just personally feel like the older games did it better.

Early Access Review
A small dev team managed to make a game with not only a respectable amount of content / game modes while still in Early Access - but they also managed to make a game that's reminiscent of how good Battlefield games actually were in the past (and haven't been in about a decade due to tonedeaf EA) AND they did it all at the consumer friendly price point of $15. Not only is this game currently great, a lot of fun, and well worth the money, but it also has a ton of potential for improvements / growth moving forward that can make it even better. Highly recommend!

This game has a very solid foundation to build upon so far, which is why I'm giving it a thumbs up. You can find a solid amount of enjoyment out of the game with friends or also with randoms via quickplay. It's not ALL good however, because the game can still use a lot of work. It's very hard to distinguish the distance/direction of Monster audio, which if intended is ok - but I still feel like it can use a bit of tweaking. There are some game mechanics which seem to be exploited a little bit and can be improved upon / tweaked to avoid this type of gameplay...Lastly, there are some glaring bugs which CAN take all the fun out of the game for both sides - Monster and Survivor. It's a great experience when you get into lobbies where people don't know or carry out these unintended features / exploits, but when you stumble upon TTV sweats that can't take an L using these tactics - it's a gamebreaking experience. Hopefully those bugs are fixed in a timely manner, otherwise it'll really start weighing on / dragging down all the positives of this game leading to a future negative review.

This game released in 2021. As per tradition with recent Battlefield games, it only took until 2024 to finally feel like a complete/enjoyable game. The Specialists feel a bit out of place rather than leaning 100% into the old class based model, but they have improved upon this since launch and it's close to the original class system now. 3 years post launch and right around the time when they just announced ending support / future big updates for Battlefield 2042 I can finally recommend it. If you want your typical fun Battlefield moments and you're going into it knowing this isn't necessarily the best Battlefield game in the series - it's definitely worth a pick up. It's well worth the $7.79 I spent and I'd say it's pretty hard not to get your money's worth / enjoyment out of the game if picking it up if it's on sale (especially at that pricepoint.)

Processor: i7-4790k
GPU - GTX 970
Ram: 16 GB

I know these PC specs aren't strong and becoming quickly outdated, but even with everything set to the "Low" preset this game is completely unplayable. The FPS is unbearable regardless of setting tweaks and even if you manage to get it to run, it's far from an enjoyable experience. This isn't necessarily a fault of the game - moreso my system being unable to handle it - but I'm just writing this review to hopefully save people some time...If you have a system setup similar to mine and you're thinking about downloading this game and/or giving it a try after reading the Minimum System requirements - I'd highly recommend taking this into consideration and avoiding the trouble / disappointment.

In terms of skill, gameplay / shooting mechanics, aesthetics, etc. this is hands down the best BR on the market..Sure there are some little quirks / other issues they can improve upon (however, most of these are on the EA side of things) but for a free to play game this game is phenomenal. 10/10 would recommend

This game should have simply been an added mode to the original Battlerite game...Unfortunately the Dev's decided to pump all their focus and money into Battlerite Royale / ignore the original Battlerite in the process and ended up with 2 dead games as the end result.

The main platform that I grew up playing as a child was SNES. Games such as the Donkey Kong Country series, Yoshi's Island, alongside many others have practically defined gaming for me and left lasting impressions that I still carry to this very day. Over the years I've sifted through the depths of the Steam store searching for platformers that could match up to the quality and enjoyment of those games. Over that period of time I've come across a few games that were truly enjoyable and came close to hitting the mark. However, each of those games in some way shape or form slightly missed the mark. Some of them had issues where either the gameplay felt off, the artstyle seemed like it didn't fit, the music was mediocre, or the game was too short / left more to be desired in one specific category.

But after playing Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition It's safe to say that I haven't come across a platformer in recent years that hit the mark in every single category, but this one did. Every single aspect of this game "wow'd" me. The visuals in this game are absolutely beautiful (Everything within this game feels alive, including the background,) the music sets the mood right from the get-go and really helps immerse you (honestly, kudos to the people who made the music for this game - it's amazing!) The gameplay feels extremely fluid, satisfying, and enjoyable - and to round it all off the game has a solid little story to go along with everything else I just mentioned. I highly recommend this game to anybody that's a fan of platformers!

This game has a very "old school" feel to it. The graphics may not be "top of the line" but the gameplay definitely makes up for any of those shortcomings (I know for many people graphics may be the main deciding factor, but the immersion will take your mind off of the graphics right away.) This game brings back all the nostalgia from Day of Defeat 1.3 and Day of Defeat source, while also implementing unique mechanics similar to Insurgency without being a direct port that's simply just reskinned. By meshing all of these mechanics together alongside some (almost identical) map remakes from Day of Defeat - Day of Infamy creates its own unique feel, game environment, and game tempo that preserves the World War II shooter feel. The playerbase is just starting to grow with its official release, and I see a ton of room for growth and improvement in future updates (even though the gameplay is already great as is!) I'd greatly recommend this game to anybody that is a fan of World War II shooters!
