Short: Beautiful game, a few flaws.

In "slightly" longer:

Most of the main gameplay is very reminiscent of that of Half-Life 2, almost the same weapon and enemy types. You walk around the map looking for the exit while exploring for resources to take on enemies in the way, all this is broken up with the occasional setpiece-sequence or puzzle. Unfortunately the gameplay really isn't the strong point of this game. The maps and puzzles in those maps can be confusing, illogical and frustrating. On top of that comes weird spikes in difficulty, sometimes a fight is easy whereas other times it just is insanely difficult, so expect dying often, or looking for the way to go to the next map.

But honestly in this game gameplay isn't all that important, because this game sometimes feels more like art than anything else. All the time you spend exploring and looking for a way to go will be rewarded with beautiful map design, insanely good looking lighting and effects, especially if you consider that this game is running on an almost two decade old game engine. On top of that comes the great sound design of this game: The maps feel immersive with the screaming of people in hideouts, dripping of liquids in sewers, gushes of wind on skyscrapers, the clattering of metal in abandoned factories or background music in urban centers. Speaking of music: The music in this game is sublime. While it is minimalstic, the mostly electronic/techno songs are absolute bops. The props that are laid out in these maps also add to your immersion, detailed clutter placed everywhere and big billboards advertising the newest tech-crap make places feel alive. The constant billboards, writing on walls and background advertisements and announcements really give the world a background lore you want to find out, making you read every bit of text and listen to every single announcement hoping to find out more of the crazy world this game takes place in.
The worldsetting is as outlandish as the rest of the game is:
A near-postapocalyptic future, where earth is ruined, almost all resources are gone, corporations rule every single cubic centimeter and you can get euthanized no questions asked at 37 years old. A telekinetic girl with crazy dreams breaks out of an evil spooky bioengineering megacorporation that makes super-soldiers. During her escape from earth she witnesses an uprising, a massive storm, robots malfunctioning and being controlled by a rogue AI, and space battles. All while being chased by "NATO-Terra" troops, which is also busy fighting with the Martian Defense Force. This insanity reflects in the props, guns, characters and vehicles. Everything is so far out there, so pretty, so different, just unlike anything I've really seen before in this form that looking at every bit of map, every character model, every billboard and building and just taking it all in was a big part of the fun.

Conclusion: This game blew me away. Pretty colors, beautiful maps, great sound effects, sublime music and funky models. Coupled with tried-and-true Half-Life 2 gameplay. The fights and puzzles were a mixed bag, but the look and feel of the game all made up for it.
If you expect fantastic gameplay with high fidelity graphics and revolutionary game design... you better look somewhere else.
But if you want to buy a piece of art, where every single screenshot could be a wallpaper, this game really could be something for you.

Honestly just pick it up on sale. It's a good game with great mechanics, and while the story is good it just is not enough, you really don't get far and the ending feels like the start of act 2.

I believe this is the first Sale for PUBG, we have had 3 times where this game could have been on sale and it wasn't. It finally is! Great! If you hadn't had it before, now you can get it for chea- wait? This has a catch right? Yes. Now Bluehole is making up for that lost revenue with an event pass! Yes! A complete copy of Fornite! If that wasn't enough, this still is a 30€ game and they promised that there wouldn't be any DLC. How nice. And still they have the nerve to sue Fortnite, even though now THEY're the ones copying. Don't give them your money, they earned $730 MILLION in revenue already.

Early Access Review
TL;DR: 8,7/10 This is a quite astonishing game, a must buy if you like Dinos and Saurs.

I bought this game for 1€! Yeah, one WHOLE €, that's quite alot.... I guess. Yeah, I got this for dirt cheap, and to be honest, at first, this game probably wasn't worth much more, but in that short time of about 6 months the developers added really flashy cool ♥♥♥♥ to this game that can be cheesy at times but for the most it's just awesome.

Pros/Cons

+Literally blasting away dinos with shotguns, rocket launchers and flamethrowers, or shooting flying bird dinos from the sky with a magnum.
+Masses of enemies to slice and dice your way through.
+Nice enemy design ideas, like the Namor, hope Trek does more with that base.
+It's dirt cheap.
+IT GOT HATS AND COSMETICS! OHHH MY GOOD YEEEEEEEEE!
+Loot system
+Starting lobby, I think it's pretty cool.
+Plenty of maps (and upcoming gamemodes!)
+Plenty of Characters.
--------------------------------
+/- Cheesiest voice acting ever, kinda makes me laugh though.
+/- There are two currencies, ingame earnable money and money by steam wallet, the real money version hopefully only is for cosmetics tho, crossing my fingers.
+/- Quite difficult for a FPS player to first get into the controls, but after a time you really get used to it, tho.
--------------------------------
-Not finished.
-Does have bugs.
-Not the best optimization.

My overall verdict: 8.7/10 Surely, it seems like this is a perfect game, and yes, for the price, it truly is, definitely worth checking out, but overall, in a complete game standpoint it's surely not the best, but yeah, not every game deserves 10/10, that's as good as impossible anyway. (Note, added bonus on the verdict for the stones Trek has to 1. updating Orion till it's actually good and 2. Having the stones to make fun of it and 3. Bringing out another game... that's actually fun.
